SIS blown block % according to SIS a lower number is better and higher number is worse.
So I really don’t get it.
What I did find in my deep dive into SIS last time is that we have 9 blown blocks (according to them) by our left tackles in 4 games and pretty much 0 everywhere else on the O line.
This just shows you how subjective advanced metrics that are essentially decided by a human being making a judgement call. Also, are these people deciding whether a block was blown or won some random uber driver(shout out to JJ Watt)? Are they going through play by play for every single player and deciding on their own? Is their a committee?
I don’t know how any of these scores are compiled, but I will form a passionate position based on whether or not they confirm my biases.
