Genuinely massive to see this from him, so important to build that confidence for a young pitcher.
Beast mode . What a gem. If only we could score runs….
Just an incredible performance from him. Setting the franchise rookie postseason strikeout record on the road against this Dodgers lineup is something special. Miz has so much potential and he has really shown it in the highest pressure situations this postseason.
Has anyone seen if he can hit? We need to build our own Ohtani.
Miz and Chourio are destined for greatness
Brewers offense failed him.
MVP of the playoffs. What a way to end his season after the 2nd half. We have a true ace in the making. He has an even higher ceiling than Burnes
Really awesome to see what he’s been able to show so far. Especially with how the last 2 months of the regular season went for him.
I really hope he’s able to develop into a Skubal or DeGrom level starting pitcher where he runs it up there at 100 mph, but can still be effective for 7 innings. If he tops out as a 5 inning starter, that’s still super valuable, but get him up to that ace level pitcher.
For what has otherwise been a pretty bleak NLCS, seeing Miz do what he’s done this postseason has been pretty incredible and frankly invaluable to his ongoing development. He’s got a shot to really break out next season
Our new ace until his contract runs out and he goes to the Dodgers
He rises up to the moment in the biggest games. Seems to be the only player in Wisconsin sports that does that these days
Future hall of famers Ohtani, Betts, Freeman went 2-11 with 6 Ks vs Miz
Imagine what this kid could do with some run support.
Well, if we take anything from this season, it’s that we have rock solid *dudes* in Jackson and Miz that aren’t afraid of the moment. We can build around that.
Miz has impressed. He is ready for the big moments. I thought for sure he’d crumble in his first postseason appearance and doubted he’d even make the roster. Our playoff MVP for sure.
This kid is going to be a stud. I can’t believe he’s this good in his rookie season. It’s been so fun to watch him this year.
And he still took the loss.
I feel like we should have made a big off to adames. I miss him
One of the brighter spots this Playoffs is seeing him and Patrick pitch so well in the clutch. I really thought he was toast after the subpart 2nd half of the regular season Miz had. But he’s turned it on at the right time.
The way things have gone for him since late July, I thought the kid was cooked mentally. Murph having the balls to put him into a tie game at home vs CHI and how he responded in both appearances was pretty amazing. Despite the hitters looking like ass yesterday, Miz was able to shut their crowd (and Ron Darling) up for several innings and make a good hitting lineup look pedestrian at the plate for a while. Here’s hoping he continues to grow from this postseason. Would love to see him able to start again.
good news is Miz seems to have alleviated a lot of concerns people had about him in the regular season about the postseason.
bad news is Miz is just one guy.
I’m buying his jersey on january when i’m back in America.
What i think has been most impressive is he is learning to pitch on the fly. His first few starts was all gas no breaks and in the playoffs his off speed game vs the cubs was really impressive work. Another offseason in the lab he is on track to be special.
