🚨JUST IN 🚨Atlanta Falcons Just Got Major Breaking News That Impacts NFL Week 7 vs. 49ers

What’s up, Falcons fans? Welcome into this at home edition of Falcons today by Chat Sports. My name is Moose coming in to you on my day off from my kitchen uh with some good news surrounding the Dirty Birds matchup against the San Francisco 49ers coming in on Sunday night. Some bad news with some other injuries that we just found out today and then some scratching my head news because what on earth is going on with the Ray Ray Mloud situation? We’re going to touch on all of that here on today’s episode. But before we get into that, I really need your help. Hit that subscribe button. Hit that thumbs up icon. And the reason I say that, and I’m not trying to beg, is because we’re this close to hitting our goal of 43,000 subscribers here on the channel. We are less than 250 subs away. We are trying to get there before our Sunday Night Football matchup. So, make sure you hit that sub button if you love daily content surrounding your dirty birds and updates just like these. All right, let’s talk about the good news first. And uh sorry if I don’t seem nearly as jovial today because I’m reading these stories that are coming from the Falcons press conferences and Falcons practice and I just am scratching my head at some of this stuff and it’s not a Raheem Morris issue. It’s a Ray Ray Mloud issue this time. But we’ll get to that here in just a little bit. Let’s start with the good news because I was reading a couple of your comments and you’re always like get with the good news first. So we’re going to remain positive here. Jake Matthews practiced uh limitedly today, but it kind of is indicating at least from Raheem Morris’s words and Jake Matthews himself uh some of the Falcons beat reporters caught up with him. It sounds like he’s going to play. And the reason that this is good news is obviously, duh, he’s one of your starters on that offensive line, which I truly believe doesn’t get enough credit for how the Falcons have gotten their wins this year because we’ve talked a lot about the defense and how stout the defense and how stout the secondary looks with all these new players, but the Falcons offensive line has great continuity. And just like in any major motion picture, right, if I was going to use a movie analogy, all these guys that are winning Oscars like Bejon and Drake London, Michael Pennix is an upand cominging star, right? You’re only as good as your supporting cast, right? Here’s the script from your offensive coordinator, your director, your head coach, but it is up to the supporting cast to help make the stars look great. And this Falcons offensive line does not get nearly enough credit for how good that they have looked this season. There’s been a couple of times, especially in the run game in some of these games where I’ve kind of questioned, you know, is this the right scheme? Are we doing the right techniques with our zone blocking from Zack Robinson? But for the most part, I will give 100% credit and a round of applause to uh the Falcons offensive line, which has looked very, very good at times and has helped lead this Falcons offense to on paper second best in the league in terms of yards per game. Let’s go to the bad news really quick. Um, out is Billy Bowman Jr. again. So, that’s pretty unfortunate. It is trending like Brock Party is not going to play. So, M. Jones will end up starting for the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football. Again, that’s just what I’ve read from the San Francisco 49ers reports. Obviously, Kyle Shanahan is kind of keeping things under wraps, but it looks like M. Jones is trending towards starting. So, again, you’re going to see pretty much the exact same style of quarterback play from both of those guys. Jaylen Walker is also out. Uh, I kind of don’t have my notes all with me right now. I’m trying to figure out where all of these um these injuries are coming from. Jaylen Walker kind of a surprise. You know, he had that such a stout game against the Buffalo Bills, but you know, if we’re looking at all of the uh all of the ins and outs here, let me just take a look really quick at uh at some of this stuff here. Just give me a moment real fast because I’m trying my best to make sure that I have every I don’t have all of my notes, right? Like the setup that we do usually at Chad Sport. So, if I just go really quick to our uh our limited participation, Jaylen Walker still dealing with that groin injury. Yeah, kind of what I figured. If it if it was a knee injury that would keep him out, it would be that groin that he’s been kind of dealing with the entirety of the year. But Jaylen Walker’s out. That’s not good news. Uh probably going to have to lean a little bit more on James Pierce Jr. to try to get some stuff going in that pass rush, which again has looked excellent at times at putting pressure on opposing quarterbacks, forcing them to make errant throws. and you know the Falcons secondary doing their job as well. So the defense right now I’m not super concerned with. My question right now is obviously with Jake Matthews. Is he going to play? Good news is it looks like he is. And now let’s talk about the I’m shaking my head news. Ray Ray Mloud, what is going on? Originally earlier in the week I had reported that a healthy scratch when you have your wide receiver 2 and Darnell Mooney out indicated to me that you were probably looking at maybe a trade package. You know, you’ve make calls and somebody has thrown his name out as a potential moving piece. So maybe that’s why and that’s originally what I thought after doing more digging and listening to your guys’s comments. Shout out to you guys for keeping up with it as well. Uh it looks like there was some disciplinary action taken by Ricky Morris and this coaching staff against Ray Ray Mloud to the point where they said, “Hey, look, we’re not going to dress him uh for the Buffalo Bills. He is a healthy scratch.” And okay, fine. You know, let’s just say for all intents and purposes, they had a bad week at practice with communication. Maybe he said some things that he shouldn’t have said. Maybe the coaching staff didn’t like his attitude. I am totally okay with him not getting the dress for that Bills game if that’s the case. If it’s just a hey slap on the wrist, don’t do it again. However, however, it is now being reported that Ray Ray Mloud was sent home from practice today and will also be not playing against the San Francisco 49ers. Now, there have been multiple reports about him not being happy with the Ike Hilliard firing, which I understand, but there is something deeper going on in this situation that we’re not privy to because Raheem Morris at the press conference was asked about it at Nauseium and the only thing that he was able to tell us, and I’ll read to you his uh his quote here. Shout out to Taran Wack for keeping up with this story as as well as she has. And uh here’s what I’m getting. Raheem Morris said, and I quote, “I sent him home talking about practice today and as an excused absence, we are working through some things that are private with the young man and we will get those things figured out. This is between Ray Ray and the organization and us. I wouldn’t say that it’s a disciplinary thing, more of a football thing, something we have to get straightened out.” Okay. So, let’s start with what we know. It’s a football thing. According to Raheem Morris, that means it’s probably has something to do with his role on the team. Maybe something a little bit with the Ichilliard firing, although Raheem Morris squashed that pretty much right off the bat. I do believe that that has something to do with it. But my question is as a player and as an employee, right, because the players are the employees essentially, you know, obviously it’s a different field, right? I talk for a living. They play football. But as an employee, I am not allowed to go into my boss’s office and complain, complain, complain, and have a horrible attitude and stop and kick my feet around and demand, demand, demand, and then fully not expect for there to be repercussions just like Ray Ray Mloud. In every organization, NFL, your business, my business, the very best employees, the very best at what they do, can kind of get away with some stuff, right? If this was Drake London throwing a tantrum, they wouldn’t have benched him. He’s the best wide receiver on the team. Ray Ray Mloud is not that. I just want to be very clear right off the bat. You have to be an elite talent to sit there and complain or do whatever it is you’re doing. Now, you can say, “Moose, you have no idea what’s going on. So, why are you speaking on this man’s name?” Well, it’s got to be something bad enough that he got sent home from practice, right? If it was a contract issue, they’re not going to send him home from practice. If it is a, hey, stylistically, I don’t like some of the schemes that we’re doing. They’re not going to send him home from practice. They’re also going to dress him, especially when you’re already dealing with an injury to Darnell Mooney, who you knew was going to be out. So, now you’ve got a healthy scratch for the Bills game, a healthy scratch again for the San Francisco 49ers game, and he’s been kicked out of practice. I mean, something’s going on, and it can’t be good from Ray Ray’s side. So, I just want to say that from a fan of this team and for somebody that is also an employee of a larger corporation who has people that are above me currently in talent and in subscribers and in revenue, I am not at liberty at all as the Falcons host of 42,000 subscribers to go up to the Dallas Cowboys host Tom Downey who’s got 230,000 counting and start, you know, pointing the finger and telling him how I want things done or go to my bosses even and say the exact same thing. So that is in my opinion what’s going on here is that there is obviously a fundamental disagreement on how the Falcons are operating. Not only the offense, but the way they do business and what Ray Ray Mloud believes should be the way they do things. And again, I’m not here to tell Ray Ray that he’s out of bounds necessarily. I’m not going to say because I don’t know what’s been said. But what I will say is is that you have to be available for your team. You’re making millions of dollars a year. You know that Darnell Mooney is out. And this is your opportunity to slide into that wide receiver two position and actually make more for yourself, not only in receptions, but as a presence on the field. And who knows, maybe that leads you to another contract extension. Maybe that leads to a little bit more money if you perform well. We live in a country where we’re all results-based. So to hear that Ray Ray is now two healthy scratches out and no longer in practice today is just something that’s wild to me. Now before I continue on with my thoughts and I’ve got a couple more things that I want to say about the San Francisco 49ers game. I got to tell you about our friends over at Prize Picks. You and I make decisions every single day. But on prize picks, being right can actually get you paid. You don’t want to miss any of the excitement this football season on prize picks where it is good to be right. Here’s all I’m going to ask you to do. I want you to go over to the app store real quick. Download the prize picks app and use code CLNS to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. That is code CLNS to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. I’m going to have all of that in the comments and description of today’s video. Prize picks. It is good to be right. All right. I don’t want to take too much more of your time because we’re already almost at 13 minutes. So, I’m going to keep this brief. Um, look, the Falcons are in an in interesting spot right now. We’re three and two. We’re going up against a very good and well coached team in the San Francisco 49ers despite all of their injuries. Now is the opportunity to strike while the iron’s hot. And if you look at the next five games, the Atlanta Falcons play the Colts. They play the New England Patriots that are not going to be easy outs, but they also play teams like the Dolphins. So, you have to go out and win these games. You play the Panthers right after you play the Colts and the Patriots. So, the Dolphins, the Panthers, winnable games. San Francisco, winnable game. All three, all five of these are winnable games. But you have to take advantage of the weaker teams, the injured teams if you want a shot to win this division and make the NFL playoffs. Period. which means you need all of your best players. That’s guys like Jake Matthews. That’s guys like Ray Ray Mloud. And I’m not even saying that Ray Ray is one of your best offensive players. But without Darnell Mooney, you need all of the weapons that you can get. Drake London was targeted 16 times against the Buffalo Bills. Michael Penn only threw the ball 32 times. So, let’s be very clear. This is not the ideal situation for the Atlanta Falcons on offense. I right now Bejon is playing at such a high level that yes, we can lean on him for a bunch of different things in the run game, in the pass game, you know, lining up in the slot, getting as many targets. I think he had eight targets against the Buffalo Bills. So, it’s great that we have a player like Bean. It’s great that we have a backup like Tyler Algier that can also handle a bunch of the handoffs if Bejan is out in the slot. However, having Ray Ray be two healthy scratches and now missing a couple of key defensive players, we cannot afford any more players to be missing for whatever reason. If they’re injured, that’s one thing. Healthy scratches are unacceptable. I need to see a coming together on both sides. I need to see something. And this is this is not just on Ray Ray. This is now up to Raheem Morris, Terry Fontau, Arthur Blank, Zack Robinson to get with Ray Ray and say, “How can we make this work? How can we smooth this over? Because if you can’t do that, then it’s not just an indictment on Ray Ray Mloud. It is an indictment on your coaching staff as well, not being able to soothe the situation. And that’s all I really have to say about it. I reminder to hit that subscribe button, like today’s video because we are going to give you updates every time we get breaking news like this. 1. I’m from Georgia bro .. ray ray isn’t blocking properly in games . We have 92.9 the game the sports radio here & im on all the social media falcons sites . I’m thinking he’s got a bad attitude about everything to

  2. Damn man. Idk Ray never met him. But maybe it’s time to trade him. You got to show up for your brothers on the field man. We don’t have Darnell we could use another WR fs man. Smh this is trash. hope Billy bowman recovers quickly

  3. They're either looking to trade him away or cut him. He is bitter about the Ike Hilliard thing and he's also inconsistent. Bijan in the slot is a million times better.

  4. McCloud was a healthy scratch because he can’t stay out of the strip clubs in Atlanta so they need to continue to sit his aayusss, call up receivers Chris Blair and Nick Nash who are more polished receivers anyway and let them play

  5. Personally I think it could have some to do with the Hilliard firing, but also I think he feels like as a result of that firing that hes being phased out of his position in the WR room for Casey Washington and now that Agnew is back and returning kicks we dont really have a use for Ray Ray in the offense potentially if Yates likes other WR better than him in the lineup.

  6. I’m really high on receiver Nick Nash as he led the nation in receiving yards and receiving touchdown receptions in 2024 and Nash was second in receptions in the nation last season at the University of San Jose St

  7. Ray Ray might be on the trading block. They need someone that can do better than what Casey Washington is doing or he will be on the field until Mooney gets healthy.

  8. You’ve been hating on Zach Robinson all year and I heard you say nothing. Good about what he did this past Sunday he called plays and coached a flawless game against the bills.
