PREVIEW: Denver Broncos Aim To EXTINGUISH Jaxson Dart, Giants Hype

Jackson Dart and the New York Giants are the moth and the Denver Broncos, they are the flame. Will moth go into flame this weekend as the Broncos will look to dismantle the hype surrounding the New York Giants? We’ll break it all down here on today’s episode of Locked on Broncos. You are Locked on Broncos, your daily Denver Broncos podcast, part of the Locked Onet. Your team every day. Everybody’s got their thing. Apparently Jackson Dart and the New York Giants, they certainly have theirs. And the Broncos are looking to slow down and extinguish a little bit of that hype surrounding that team coming into week seven on Sunday. Welcome into a brand new episode, Locked On Broncos, your daily Denver Broncos podcast, part of the Locked On podcast network where you know it’s your team every day. Thanks to all the everydayers out there in Broncos country. Thanks for making us your first listen however you choose to do so. I’m Cody Rooric, Broncos reporter from Mile High Sports, joined as always by Sarah Bettinger, site expert over there, predominantly Orange.com. And here’s what we got in store for you on today’s episode of the show. As we go through our final game preview, we’ll go through our key players to watch. And we’ll tell you why Zack Allen, Patan are going to be crucial this week for the Broncos beating the Giants and maybe extinguishing the flame that is the hype surrounding Jackson Dart and that team. Plus, we’ll get into why the Broncos pass rush must get home and rattle the rookie quarterback. And then we’ll go through and talk about our keys to victory, including the biggest one. Make that Super Bowl 50 team proud this week. And you get all that here on today’s episode of the show. Sarah, big weekend ahead. Obviously, as we know, Dearis Thomas going into the ring of fame here for the Broncos at halftime. The Super Bowl 50 team is going to be honored. It is the largest alumni gathering here in franchise history, which obviously it’s a very meaningful one, not only for the Super Bowl 50 team, but also to honor DT as well. and a big game. Apparently, there’s a big big game being played here on Sunday. Uh let’s go through our players to watch here in this matchup against the New York Giants who are feeling themselves a little bit. There’s been a lot of fun social media stuff going on this week here. But who are your players to watch, my friend? Yeah, I’ve got three players to watch for this week. I’m going to go with the rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant as one of them. I just feel like his snaps increasing, the targets, they are going to start coming as well. So, at some point, I feel like Pat Bryant is going to have a big breakout game for us to be talking about here on the show. And Cody, we’ll see if that ends up being here against the Giants. And then Courtland Sutton, another wide receiver. Obviously, you mentioned it. The Broncos are honoring Dearius Thomas this week, the late great now ring of famer. Uh, and that’s going to be an exciting opportunity for the franchise to honor one of their all-time greats. And what better way for Cland Sutton to honor Dearius Thomas than by having a big game. And then you know what? Nick Bonito, he won defensive player of the week two weeks ago. Jonathan Cooper last week. Let’s see if the Broncos can get a little trifecta here. Three straight weeks with three different players winning defensive player of the week. I’m going to go with Zack Allen as being that guy just because I feel like he has a a real chance to kind of creep that sack number up now that we’ve seen over the first handful of weeks of the season. He’s been getting pressures. He’s been getting quarterback hits. I think the sacks are going to come this week. So, those are my top three players to watch this week and I think those guys are all going to do some serious damage. Yeah, look, we obviously know the story of Courtland Sutton carrying on the doughnut tradition of Dearius Thomas on Saturdays buys his staff and teammates a bunch of donuts. That’s something he’s kept forth there. So, obviously it’s going to be a big weekend. I know Courtland’s going to have a heavy heart. It’s going to be a very emotional inside that stadium on Sunday at Empower Field. I talked to Zack Allen this week inside the locker room and you know we were just talking about the defense and what they’ve been able to do and one thing he you know I asked him about was just like you know hey like you know a lot of like what is going on like in terms of the success of the pass rush is because of what you are facing and he’s facing double teams triple teams and he said at the beginning of the year he said I was a little frustrated he’s like you know because I’m not I’m not getting there it’s like you know I’m getting all this attention he said well luckily our defense is getting home and then he’s like you know what our unit is having success so for me that’s all I care about and were happy. He says, “You know, if I’m getting double teams, then I know JFM and Nick and Jonathan, they’re going to win their one-on- ones.” He says, “If JFM’s getting double team, I’m I know I’m going to win my one-on-one.” So, he’s got a lot of confidence coming into this matchup as well. I like your picks here, Sarah. I think you nailed it perfectly. And I think that these players can have a big game. And how awesome would it be? And I for Courtland to catch a touchdown in this game. I think that would be huge. I think that they are going to have the number 88 painted somewhere on the sideline. Kind of similar to what happened when he unfortunately passed away. Uh, but it just, you know, you want to come out here and honor a guy like DT and the way he did things and maybe a big old Courtland Sutton game here on Sunday can be one of the bigger things here. I’m excited about that. My players to watch here, Sarah, I’m going to start things off here. Number one, with the Joker, Evan Ingram, we saw his role being unlocked a little bit more last week here by Shawn Payeyton. And in two consecutive weeks, he has come on big in the fourth quarter, right? A big third down catch for him last week against the Jets. the week prior, a big-time catch in the fourth quarter against the Philadelphia Eagles and the Broncos furious comeback, but the way that we’re seeing Evan be utilized was big. And Bo Nick spoke on it earlier this week and the media in the press conference about we want to get him the ball. Like there was a concerted ef saying like this is why we brought him in because this is what he brings to the table. I feel like this Bo Nicks Evan Ingram connection is going to grow a little bit. I think if the Broncos can find a way to feed Courtland Sutton, as you talked about, feed your playmakers, feed Evan Ingram, I think good things can happen here for this Broncos offense this week defensively, I’m going to go with Patrick Certan here because look, I think that with Jackson Dart and all the swagger and all the hype that he’s got surrounding him right now, you know, one thing that wouldn’t shock me here, I I think Brian Dable and them, you know, probably don’t want Dart to he doesn’t want him to throw Certan’s way, but sometimes when you feel like you’re feeling yourself a little bit, you got this swagger as you know that that Dart has which is fun like happy for Giants fans that they have some hype around him but sometimes that could get you in trouble and I think Passertan’s the type of guy that can make a rookie quarterback make those mistakes I think we’ve seen Pat do a really good job at times of baiting quarterbacks you know whether the Broncos played their inverted cover six you know cover six where you know Pat might be playing cover two on one side and the other corner is playing cover three on the other I think Pat’s disguise and how Denver does it ramped up with the pressure I think we could see Pastor Tan getting his first interception of the season here on Sunday. I’m going to put that out into the universe here. I think that you will see Dart try to test him a little bit. So, that’s one that we’re looking forward to. And then my last player to watch here is simple. It’s Bo Nicks. And look, I and this is going to tie into my keys to victory later on, but you know, Bo Nicks talked about this week just about how playing with rhythm or going up tempo, like how it’s beneficial for the Broncos offense. And we’ve certainly seen this because he said, “Wait, you know what you’re doing. You’re going fast.” The defense is having a hard time lining up, getting their personnel in. You know, we can go and that gives us the advantage. It seems like Bo might make a little bit more of a, you know, proclamation to say, “Hey, let’s run some more uptempo stuff.” I like it. I think there’s value to be had there, but that does require the Broncos maybe sticking with certain personnel versus rotating guys in. So, I’m curious to see if the quick passing game, the uptempo approach is something that Shawn Peyton breaks out against this Giants defense, which you have to against this pass rush against these guys here. They have good coverage linebackers. Javon Holland is a great safety. They have really great players at all three levels of the field and the best way to neutralize that is to go quick. You can’t let the pass rushers can’t get home if you’re getting the ball to your hands quickly. We’ve seen teams take that approach before and it’s worked out for them. Can the Broncos do the same thing? To me, these are my three players to watch. got to be yak monsters against this team, right? You want to get rid of the ball quickly to neutralize that pass rush, but also you feel like you do have the playmakers on the outside and at running back, you know, to be able to take advantage of that. And the Broncos have a bunch of guys who have made plays. This is the tension. I think when we talk about the Denver Broncos offense is when we see the best of Cland Sutton and Marvin Mims and Troy Franklin and Evan Ingram, everybody’s like, “Man, this is exciting. this offense could be really good. Unfortunately, we’re not seeing that consistently. So, if we can see it consistently against a team like the Giants, you feel like this is a game where the offense can sort of break open the dam a little bit because the Giants do have the pieces defensively, but what what confidence can be built if you can go out there and and pour it on against a team like this? Now, we expected a blowout against the Jets, right? We didn’t get it. this this game maybe feels like sort of a makeup or atonement for that. You know, it wasn’t a relaxing Sunday last week when the Broncos were playing in London. We we were hopeful that it would be. We were hopeful that it would just kind of, you know, easy 31 to to nine or whatever it was, but that didn’t end up being the case. The offense now has a chance to sort of reclaim that that same hype that we’re now seeing for the Giants after they poured it on against the Philadelphia Eagles last Thursday night. Now the Broncos offense has a chance to do that for this fan base. You’ve seen the dominating defense. Let’s go out there and have a dominating game on offense really for the first time this season. Yeah, that’s what you want to see against a very good defense and I I think that could get you some rightful momentum going down the stretch. We know what’s a what’s ahead for Denver. We never like looking too far ahead. But the Broncos have a really great opportunity here starting on Sunday if they can get a win to ride that momentum to build things up because hey, they want to go further in the playoffs. They want to win the division. The best way to do that, win these games. Find a way to do just that here. Broncos country. Make sure you drop in and let us know what your players are in terms of offense and defense. Who you have your eyes on in Sunday’s game here against the New York Giants. But coming up next, Sarah and I, we’re going to take a look at two key matchups we feel like will define the game. How could the Broncos interior pass rush get after this Giants offensive line? And Nick Bonito, Jonathan Cooper against Jackson Dart, a new fun rivalry. We’ll break it all down here on today’s episode of the show. This show is sponsored by BetterHelp. The team returns after a pretty long absence from the Mile High City to come back home in front of the not just the home crowd, but in front of some of the team’s great legends. We’ll see if that pass rush can do right by the Super Bowl 50 team. That’s one of the best pass rushing groups of all time. Broncos got to get after Jackson Dart in week seven and kind of help us all on social media, Broncos country. I know that there’s a lot going on there in the social media realm right now. A lot of mess being talked before this game. So, somebody’s going to be miserable one way or the other this week. It might as well be Giants fans, right? So, but Broncos country, we appreciate every single one of you so much for tuning in and making us your first listen of the day every single day. We appreciate all of you. And Cody, let’s talk about this because our key matchups, we put these together separately. And it’s funny because you picked the edge rushers going up against Jackson Dart. I have the interior defensive line going up against the Giants interior offensive line. So, this segment is really all about making good on what our pass rushers are kind of promising there on social media. When you’re talking smack, and I know Jonathan Cooper wasn’t necessarily talking smack, but now everybody’s talking a little smack, uh, with their, you know, cryptic tweets and we’re talking about 3D glasses and delusional fan bases and things like that. Let’s kick it off with you and your key matchup for this game between the Broncos edge rushers and getting after that rookie quarterback, Jackson Dart. Yeah, fun little rivalry this week brewing between rookie quarterback Jackson Dar and the Broncos pass rush duo of Jonathan Cooper and Nick Bonito. This is my key matchup to watch here. And I think we should take a look at some of the key numbers here. When you look at Cooper and Bonito off the edge through six games, 12 and a half sacks between the two of them. Bonito obviously leads the NFL right now with eight and a half. Jonathan Cooper at four. But these guys are also getting to the quarterback and they’re hating them quite a bit. 23 quarterback hits combined between just these two players off the edge with Nick Bonito having 17 I mean 16, Jonathan Cooper having seven of those. And I think the pressure component is also important. 28 pressures combined here between these two guys. Bonito with 17, Jonathan Cooper with 11. And Bonito was also on a pace. I think last year had 24 total quarterback hits. He’s already had 16 through six games which is crazy here. But I think this matchup here, Jackson Dart, Sarah, we know how he likes to play. You know, this is a guy who can win within the pocket. He can throw on the run. He’s a very athletic quarterback. I think he’s got good ball placement on a lot of his throws. And so far through the games that I’ve watched of him, he’s got swagger. He’s got energy. And you know what? Like, that’s revitalized this Giants offense a little bit going from Russell Wilson now to Jackson Dart. He is a dangerous player here. But I also want to say he’s a rookie. And I’m curious to see how the Broncos defense approaches it because not only do you have to worry about him, you have to worry about Cam Scataboo. Dart on the road, sir, is 0 and one. And that matchup came against the New Orleans Saints just a couple of weeks ago here. And he struggled in that game. The the, you know, Saints defense was able to pressure him, hit him a couple of times. But the key thing here is Dart in three games as a starter, he’s been sacked eight times already, Sarah. So, I think that’s going to factor into this matchup a little bit. Obviously, he can hurt you with his legs on the ground. You know, he’s had several games where he’s had over 50 yards rushing. He’s got two rushing touchdowns on the year. I I think the key here is to fluster him. And I look, I mean, Denver just faced a very athletic quarterback who could run last week. Now, obviously, you know, I don’t think anyone believed that Justin Fields could throw as much. Jackson Dart can, but I think the Broncos could have a similar approach in their pass rush lanes this week when it comes to trying to get after this rookie quarterback. And and I kind of teased it as well by saying it’s like Jackson Dart and this Giants offense and the hype surrounding them, they’re like the moth, right? But then there’s that light, right? And Moser attracted that bright light, but that bright light ends up being a flame. And that flame has the pass rush duo, Jonathan Cooper and Nick Bonito. Yeah, this this matchup to me, Cody, and I analytics aside, or data aside, like make this guy look like a rookie quarterback, right? I mean, Vance Joseph talked about it on Thursday when the coordinators met with the media. He’s like talking about how turnovers come in bunches and he’s not worried about that right now because obviously the Broncos are getting home to the quarterback. They are getting stops in the red zone on third down. They’re being efficient in every other possible way. So if you’re the New York Giants, that’s that’s concerning because what what you’re talking about here is a defense that dominates at everything else right now except for turnovers. And at some point those turnovers are going to come in bunches. And what happened against the New Orleans Saints? Well, the Giants had five turnovers in that game and a couple interceptions from Jackson Dart so far this season, but I would be way more afraid of the fact that the Broncos are kind of due for a game where they force a couple of turnovers at the very least as opposed to, man, we feel like our rookie quarterback’s got this swagger. We got this running back who he’s he’s physical and he’s tough and and they are those things. You can’t discredit that, but you’re going up against a defense that already dominates in the red zone. It already dominates on third down. It already dominates in the pass rush department. And it just so happens they haven’t forced a turnover since week three. So that’s going to be a huge deal in this one. And I think that kind of leads into what I’m looking at in this one. The key matchup that I have, the Broncos interior defensive line against the Giants interior offensive line. Giants fans seem to be exceptionally confident about Andrew Thomas at the left tackle position. Look, they should be. I mean, that’s one of their that’s one of their best players right now, right, John? I mean, when you’re talking about going against edge rushers, you’ve got a guy that you feel can neutralize at least one of them. And so, good for them. What’s what’s what are you going to do about John Franklin Myers and Zack Allen? What are you going to do when the Broncos have Malcolm Roach and DJ Jones and even Inomo Uazarque who’s got multiple sacks now on the season? You’ve got all these different guys who are causing problems for the interior offensive line of every other team the Broncos have played. Plus, it looks like we’re trending towards Dre Greenlaw playing. Plus, Justin Cernad, Cody, over the last two seasons, he has started 13 games and he has six and a half sacks. He’s one of the best and most underrated blitzing linebackers in the NFL. So, to me, I’d be I I’d be concerned if I was the Giants going up against a defense that’s already dominating in the metrics that you want to be dominating in because turnovers will eventually come. And I think the interior defensive line this week is going to be the key to the Broncos forcing turnovers, whether it’s strip sacks, whether it’s forcing bad decisions, tip balls at the line of scrimmage, resulting in interceptions. Don’t know how it’s going to happen, but I think that’s how it is going to happen is those guys making it happen. Well, sir, you know, Andrew Thomas is a very talented player. The Chargers thought Joe Alt was going to shut down Nick Bonito. We saw what happened in that game. The Eagles thought Jordan Milada was going to shut down Bonito. We saw what happened in that game. Good luck. I I saw the tweet that obviously, you know, created some bulletin board material that prompted Nick Bonito say the most delusional fan base in the league before he deleted it. I love it. There’s a lot of fire and a lot of juice here. And you know what? that Super Bowl 50 defense, the no-fly zone, minus Von Miller, unfortunately, won Super Bowl 50. Everyone’s going to be there except Vaughn this upcoming weekend. And what a way put on a show in front of those guys and honor them in this game. I’m excited about that. But Broncos country coming up next. We’re going to tell you why the biggest key to victory for the Broncos this week is to make that Super Bowl 50 team proud. Well, if that’s going to be the case, there are three things that they have to do. Sarah and I are going to give you our keys to victory here on today’s episode of the show. Want to say thank you once again to all the dares in Broncos country. Thanks for tuning in, making us your first listen. Boots on the ground at practice, at games. You get all that here. Locked on Broncos. Sarah, my friend, let’s start with your keys to victory. We know how big of a weekend it is here for the Broncos, honoring the Super Bowl 50 team. What are your three keys to victory if the Broncos are going to improve to 5-2 on the season on Sunday? Yeah, Cody, my number one key takeaway or my number one key to victory for the Broncos in this game didn’t even change from a week ago. I didn’t have to do really anything. I just put the words the word again in parenthesis here. create takeaways. And that is that has got to be the number one key to victory. Get after that football. Get the ball out of Jackson Dart’s hands. Take it away when the ball is in the air. Easier said than done. Easy for me to say sitting in my, you know, my desk chair here, but create takeaways. Number two, make the Super Bowl 50 team proud. Like you said, this is going to be the largest number of Broncos alumni coming back to the Mile High City to take in a game. And you’re also honoring Dearius Thomas in this game. Make the Super Bowl 50 team proud. And number three, assert yourself. Uh Cody, I was concerned about this when we heard Joel Lombardi talking to the media and somebody was asking him, you know, if you could go back and do anything differently after the success you had in the first quarter against the New York Jets in London of the first half, you know, offensively, what would you do differently? He talked about maybe not be as conservative in the second half. He was like, you know, we knew they that their offense wasn’t going to score a lot of points and so maybe we just played it a little too conservative. Miss me with that. Mi absolutely miss me with that. If that’s the mentality of this team, we’re going to have a lot of ticked off fans every single week on our mentions on social media, in our comments on YouTube. Be aggressive. Go take, you know, whatever phrase you want to use here. Take the bull by the horns, put the pedal to the metal, put the foot on the gas, you know, go for the jugular. Whatever it is, the Broncos have to be that team. Like, don’t be trying not to lose. play to win. That’s what I want to see this team do. I want to see a a 2018 versus the Cardinals style butt whooping. I want to see a, you know, last year against the Falcons at home, I want to see that level of butt whooping happen in this game. Just pure dominance from start to finish going up against a rookie quarterback. The 50 is the end zone once again for their offense. Make it impossible for them to even feel like they can take anything away from this game. I want to I want to see Giants fans on Twitter talking about how they’d like to see Russell Wilson play again because it was such a bad game from Jackson Dart. I want this to be just the most dominating effort we can see from the Broncos because it will spark that Super Bowl conversation for the fan base again. Yeah, and that’s the biggest thing is this offense is finding that rhythm and that consistency. I I’m I’m pretty sure maybe Shawn probably wouldn’t have been probably might not be so happy with Joe Lombardi kind of saying it because you know like when we talked to Shawn during the week, Shawn kind of downplayed it a little bit and and I think that’s the thing that frustrates fans is that you know there’s times where it’s like you know fans want to know about this like what’s the reasoning behind this and you know maybe there was something that we didn’t see you know that led to them you know and you can make the illusion about like you know Matt Per struggles the injury there did that change their approach I don’t think that necessarily changed their approach because I mean if you you go back to what players were saying this week, they had no idea that he hurt his knee on the third play of the game and and just fought through it. Like they they never once said that this week. They’re like, “Wow, like you know, he’s tough, gutsy, you know, never never asked to come out of the game at that point.” So I I don’t buy that as an excuse here, but I just found that interesting that Joe Lombardi said that look, and I liked it because I do feel like Joel will give us a little bit more insight when it comes to the offense than Shawn does. So I’m curious to see how Shawn maybe took that coming out of it. We’ll obviously hear from Shawn Peyton later on today and the Broncos final presser will be out there at practice. Uh my keys to victory here, Sarah, they kind of fall a line a little similar with you. I I think the number one thing is we talked about plays into our matchup. You got to hit Jackson Dart early and often. The best way to fluster a rookie quarterback or if he wants to do all the dances as Jonathan Cooper said throughout the week, you know, he’s got a chain, you know, he’s got, you know, he’s got these dances and he’s like everybody’s got something essentially here. the best way to stop him from doing all that is to hit him and to limit his opportunities to make those big plays. So, I imagine the Broncos defense, they’re going to look to get after Dark. They’re going to look to hit him early and often here. That’s going to be a big key here as well. Let’s go to the second key to victory here. I think the number one thing is honoring the legacy. You mentioned it. Make that Super Bowl 50 team proud. Honor the legacy. What did we see this Broncos team do consistently in that Super Bowl 50 year? I mean, I always go back to that prime Green Bay Packers Monday Night Football matchup where Prime Aaron Rogers, Devonte Adams, as young as he was against the no-fly zone, and they absolutely just dominated him. Look, this is a rookie quarterback you’re facing. This, in my opinion, Denver has a Super Bowl caliber defense. Go out there and prove it. Go out there and honor the legacy that was set forth for you by that Super Bowl 50 team. And my third and final key to victory here, loosen the reigns on the offensive side of the ball. That’s going to be the biggest key here. You can’t play conservative. You can’t play too passive against this Giants team because this Giants defense is ultra aggressive. They disguise their coverage as well. They send a variety of exotic blitzes and stunts that can definitely impact their flow and rhythm on the offensive side of the ball. Run the football here. Stick with a consistent rotation with JK Dobbins, RJ Harvey. I want to see these guys getting one series, the next guy getting the next series. get the hot hand going and then open everything else up here with your offensive game plan here with Bo Knicks. That to me, if the Broncos are going to win this game, they can do and they have to do all three of these things here. And I tell you what, it’s another opportunity, sir. Another opportunity here in the 2025 season. Moving to 5-2 would be especially big, especially with the schedule that’s coming up here. And it could set up a very important match up before the Broncos head into their bye-week several weeks from now against the Kansas City Chiefs. Can the Broncos control their own destiny? This is an opportunity for them to prove it. You’ve got to you’ve got to continue to not only keep pace with the other teams in the division, but do everything that you possibly can to create separation right now because you give yourself a bit of a margin for error as the season goes along. That’s what you want to have. You don’t want to be scraping and clawing trying to get into the frame of the playoff picture at the season’s end. You want to be firmly in that playoff picture with room for error. And you know, that’s where the Broncos are at right now. They have a chance to do that against teams like the Giants. You should beat the Giants. Look, we’re all We like Jackson Dart. I like I I enjoyed watching the Giants upset the Eagles. He’s fun. Cam Scataboo. How many of How many people commented on our shows during the draft, Cody, that were like, “Boncos should draft Cam Scataboo. Broncos should draft Cam Scataboo.” So, you can’t just say now that he’s not good or anything. I like the Giants. I think they’re fine. But you know what? This week, the Giants are dead to me. The the the Giants and all their fans who are, you know, talking about who’s Jonathan Cooper, give me a break. I mean, you want to talk about the Broncos fans not knowing ball or whatever it is like that, Cody. I I mean, you’re going to learn who Jonathan Cooper is. You’re going to learn who Nick Bonito is. And the Broncos getting Dre Greenlaw back if that’s the case because we don’t know definitively as the time we’re recording this, right? but we assumed that potentially he could return. I think that this is going to be a fun game. It it’s going to be a lot of fun and I hope the Broncos absolutely kick their you know what uh in front of everybody because now there’s a lot of added intrigue for this game. There’s going to be a lot more eyes on this game. This is going to be fun to watch. But I think the Broncos, Cody, I do I feel like this is that that s like not a signature win, but like a blowout type of win that kind of gets everybody in the fan base rallied once again. Well, you know, like I said, Cam Scataboo, Jackson Dart, those guys have a lot of energy here. If the Broncos dominate these guys, it’s going to bring, you know, a whole new sense of energy here for this team going forward into a match up against the Dallas Cowboys next week at home. It’s going to be fun here, Sarah. Broncos country, make sure you share with us your keys to victory on today’s episode of the show. But with that said, that’ll wrap up today’s episode of the show. Broncos country, you’ll get Sarah and myself after the game here for our Lockdown Broncos postgame report. Hopefully a victory Monday ahead and a 5-2 Denver Broncos team. We’ll see you then.

The Denver Broncos are aiming to extinguish the Jaxson Dart and New York Giants hype. Bo Nix, Evan Engram, Zach Allen, Patrick Surtain II players to watch vs. the Giants. Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper against Dart headline Sunday’s key matchup, while honoring the Broncos Super Bowl 50 team should be one of the main keys to victory.

  1. The Broncos are pissed after last weekend, and both DT and The SB50 defense are being honored? This is going to be an ass beating. 26-6 and I feel kind of generous with that score prediction.

  2. Celebrating DT#88 and the SB50 team……better come out like you have a purpose and don't take your foot off the pedal! 🔑My key players are JK and RJ on offensive. One of those two need over 100yds, or even both! Key on D is JFM. Plug up the middle to contain Skatts and Dart! Cody, been meaning to ask. On that picture during the Keys near the end, is that Magnum or Blue Steel? 🤔

  3. I expect the Giants to run lots of screens, jet sweeps, work the middle LB’s and running Scattabo to try and offset our pass rush. Stay disciplined and let’s get that W!

  4. The Oline is nowhere near what people in the media, specifically using PFF have made it out to be.
Mcglinchey is a liability at RT in obvious pass sets. Meinerz having a rough year so far. Watt is, well he’s terrible. So powers going out was the landmine we couldn’t hit.
Gargullio injury sucks, because he woulda been up and showed out.
They have to dominate with the guards to open up the pass game from Sean’s play pass. I’m really hoping they drop the wide zone and go back to power football. Gap, duo, pullers. Churn out some run bread and butter. Get this Oline confidence. If they are dead set on wide zone inside zone stretch etc..
they need to grab one of these browns interior 3. Pocic at C and Palcho Quinn Gs is exciting.
Hot take: Mcdaniels gets fired this weekend and Sean nabs him up. Dude isn’t a great HC but mikes run schemes are genius level. Dolphins have a dogshit OLine and yet Mcdaniels finds 3-4 plays a game that open up for massive opps.

  5. Jaxon Dart has one major flaw and that flaw is his unwillingness to slide and his EGO making him believe he can run over players in the NFL like he did in College. There is a high probability that Jaxon Dart gets to officially meet Huffunga on one of his scrambles. Dart and Skataboo have never been hit by Denver's heat seaking Abrams tank in Huffunga! I am not vying for Dart to be injured but there is a chance he once again ends up in the blue tent!! Everyone that watched Grudens QB class with Dart heard Gruden tell him that he is reckless and that if he doesn't stop trying to run through contact he will end up in the Blue tent.

  6. I think Sutton will go off! Probably be a bit of a tough start for our offense (again 😒), with that Giants front 4 on D. Hopefully I'm wrong. But our D should be able to handle that Giants offense that seem to have the juice right now. Our coaching better be better, our QB better be better too.

  7. Yep Joe Lombardi explained that fullback dive that we were all horrified by when he talked about calling the game too Conservative !!! I think Lombardi was very frustrated by the play calling which is why he actually said it on the podium!!! I believe based on watching the sideline behavior of Webb and Nix with Sean Payton they are all getting frustrated with the play calling.

  8. The offense played like pure crap against the hapless Jets and the Giants dismantled the Eagles 😮while Broncs barely pulled out a W, so not sure where all the Denver bravado is coming from.

If Dart goes out of the game for a decent length of time, then the Orange wins big. If not, expect a low scoring game dominated by excellent Defense on both sides.

Final note: Evan Ingram is a choke artist and putting your hopes on Evan to make a big play is pure fools gold.

  9. Should be a great game early. I really anticipate Bronx D to confuse and overwhelm Dart. I believe G Men have them their Guy!!! I think they will b formidable once he gets the weapons around him. Actually have a lot of respect for Daboll and their team. DEFINITELY WANTED SKATTEBOO ……HAPPY HES DOING WELL…NOT SURPRISED!

  10. I wish I was on social media. I never have and I never will i see how ppl talk from my wife so I stay away dont need that shit in my life. But thanks for the laughs

  11. Broncos will surprise the skeptics and have an impressive and solid win against the Giants! Nice analysis guys!
Also, Dre Greenlaw will not only play awesome, but he’s number 57 – the same number as Tom Jackson (Most Inspirational Bronco) who I’ve played basketball with at Washington Park recreation center many times (great guy and excellent basketball player too).
I’ve got a good feeling about this game.
    Go Broncos!!!!
