Padres in Chaos: Seidler’s Leadership Gone, Power Struggle Taking Over

There’s beef between the CEO and AJ Prowller and someone is painting it as well grouper is the one that wanted Mike Schill in the first place. AJ didn’t even want Mike Schill. AJ wanted Ryan Flity. Remember the early part of the week was he retired. He’s tired. He wants to go home, dude. The middle part of the week was Mike Schult’s an and he treats people really shitty. whether it’s his coaching staff, and by the way, AJ Prowler was petrified of the guy because when he would go to see him, people would say, “Make sure you get ready to duck.” The the narrative has changed as a week went on. On day one, they said, “He retired. He’s tired. He’s going home.” People were skeptical. That doesn’t seem right. Nobody does that. By the middle of the week, it was, “He’s an incredibly tough guy to work with. Look why he was let go in in St. Louis. We all had problems with him. What an he is.” And now by the end of the week it was I didn’t even want him. I didn’t even want him. And and now by the way you talk listen this all goes back to explain and I you guys hate when I do it but I’m going to do it. The difference between the Dodgers and the Padres’s is not just in the payroll. It’s how the organization is run. The Dodgers are run with zero dysfunction.

As the Dodgers close in on another World Series berth, the Padres’ front office power struggle and dysfunction are coming to light

  1. That's BS about the Dodgers… if the Padres win the NLDS in '24 this is a different conversation because Roberts probably gets fired if they don't win that series. And an unlimited payroll where you can have multiple MVPs on a roster makes a lot of problems go away. Having enough starting pitching where 4 out of the 5 opening day pitchers pitch less than 100 innings and you still win 93 games is ridiculous. The Dodgers only problem is finding ways to hide players on their 40 man roster that go down with injuries. They are paying more in luxury tax that 2/3 of the leagues payroll. That kind of money makes a lot of problems go away. What happens if Roki can't close games and they are forced to use Triden and Scott in the playoffs 🤔
