That is a major penalty and game misconduct and a suspension. The fine is whatever. If troubas head bursts he gets a lifetime ban. If trouba is severely injured he gets a suspension. If trouba shrugs it off because he got fucking lucky Blake get a slap on the wrist.
The player safety department is a joke. Always has been and probably always will be. If the intention doesn’t matter and only the result is punishable you might as well try to cripple people all the time. Playoff panthers send their regards.

I remember I went to a game last season when the Ducks played the Hurricanes and I was sitting right behind the Ducks bench and he got into it with Strome. Dude was such a whiner… they were winning, and ended up winning that game too
Absolutely wild to me that it was treated like any other minor stick infraction with a 2 minute minor. He should be suspended in addition for at least a game. No chance he should have gotten anything other than a game misconduct yesterday as well. Refs should be embarrassed but I know they’re shameless

Canes got very favorable reffing yesterday even if they were the better team regardless. We played them very close for a lot of the game even as the ref continued to miss clear penalties including what should have been a major penalty
That was such a bitch move by Blake. It has no place in the game and I am surprised Johnston didn’t murder him next time they were on the ice together.
Either grow a pair and fight him or take the hit.
