Idk what SIS is, but it’s now my new favorite QB metric.
Yes of course, Spencer Rattler – Top 5 QB
I’m convinced Rattler maintains a PR Team with a couple social media interns who get paid to spread *the Good Word of the Rat* lol
Rattler is fine but most of these advanced metrics are cherry picked and meaningless.
I’m sure some Panthers fans are finding some charts out there that have Bryce Young top 5
The dude is not bad lol.
I think lots of folks are just burnt by the past few years and prefer to be snarky, which, hey, understandable!
But, yeah, dude isn’t a bad QB. He might even be good
This is pretty specific list to make him top 5. But ok. I’ll take it.
That’s great and all but we are… 28th in points scored per game
EDIT: nvm 29th, Cincy passed us with their 33 last night
SIS and PFF are kinda jokes as QB grades but at least it means he’s doing something right, he was graded higher in the loss to New England than Goff was in a game with a perfect passer rating. PFF traditionally grades QBs who throw to open receivers poorly, if you recognize cover 3 pre snap and audible to a cover 3 beater and throw a wide open pass you get less pts than not recognizing and throwing a completion into coverage
Where did this come from?
☝️
Does SIS measure a QB’s ability to almost score 20 points?
Although I agree he hasn’t been bad he also hasn’t done well enough to lead this team to a victory. I get that receivers dropped passes and all this blah blah stuff. Go win us a couple of games, show us you’re the guy. When I see that I’ll be a believer
Rattler league MVP confirmed.
King of SIS
I’ve always said that SIS is the only way to evaluate a QB
🐀🐍
The guy is obviously doing a nice job, given the system tailored on his limited skills. He’s not top-5 in any dimension, but he’s doing his best. Can we focus on the abysmal performance of receivers, the shaky OL and the inconsisteng running game?
Don’t get me wrong, a QB with a franchise-level skill set could very well elevate our O; but we don’t have one at this time, the coach is doing an *outstanding* work with him, but the not so well with the other position groups. It’s a great chance to acknowledge we’re in the bottom part of the league pretty much anywhere. Rattler is a fifth rounder and he is outperforming his draft status. Our OL, DL, Olave and Koolaid are underperforming. These are the issues, not actually a young game manager.
Why do people love slobbing this guy? He’s a backup QB leading us to a 1-12 record as the quarterback. I’m pulling for the team and him personally but I don’t know why everyone is fan girling him
Rattler has looked good so far. Sure ya’lls knew head coach is certainly helping but the fact that they chose to start him over Shough or over picking up a different guy, and he is now producing, makes me wonder if he actually should be a starter in this league.
This whole time we thought we needed to get a new QB it turns out we just needed to get a whole new team instead
