Good ol’ Arthur Rhodes lost his battle against David Justice, and the Bronx shook.

  1. I remember the Ms having a late rally and falling asleep before the game could end. Woke up to find out we were in the World Series

  2. Copypasting what I happened to write just yesterday in a thread about the Boone HR:

    > 2000 ALCS was the loudest place I ever was. David Justice hit a HR over our heads in the loge boxes out in RF. Pandemonium. Bedlam. The building itself was shaking. Then Paulie knocked in 2 more and it went crazy again and we spent the whole 9th inning chanting Bring on the Mets. 🤣

  3. Arthur Rhodes literally powered the dynasty as Williams would do the same thing in 01 ALCS G4 shame we couldn’t have met him in 2004.

  4. Love this highlight. I remember watching the game live and telling my eventual wife “oh good, theyre bringing in Arthur Rhodes, this dude never got a big out in his life.”

  5. this series kicked ass. The fact that it was a subway series and they brought the redbird cars out for it was fucking dope.

  6. Justice was an insane pickup. Dude mashed. The back to back 1st pitch HRs with Bernie in early August was one of the best endings to a game I ever saw.
