The Suns Just Changed Everything
The Suns might be in a better spot than you think because after a 36- win season, they had the most active summer of any team, making a number of moves to shape up their young core, add some depth, and build a really unique roster. The additions of Mark Williams and Kan Maluash made them significantly bigger, more athletic, and more versatile in the front court. even though both are still pretty raw. And that should help unlock Devin Booker within his point guard type role as he’s at his best working off of screens. The addition of Dylan Brooks brings some muchneeded defense, spot-up shooting, and potentially a culture shift. While Jaylen Green adds volume pull-up three-point shooting, and strong rim pressure, two areas the team really lacked last year. Jared Butler hasn’t found a consistent role in the league yet, but he’s had some flashes as an onball creator. And with the lack of a true point guard, he could have an opportunity to prove himself along with potential internal development from guys like secondyear forward Ryan Dunn, secondyear big Oso Agodaro, Colin Gillespie, or any one of the four other rookies they drafted. The future doesn’t look so bad in
