played really well. Thought the offense played really, really good. Um, just not good enough to win the game. You said going into the week that you had a lot of confidence in Jacobe. You kind of showed why. What impressed you most about him today? He’s a true pro. He’s a guy who’s been in this league for a long time. He’s played a lot of games. Um, so he knows how to He’s done this before. He’s played a lot of games in this stadium. Um, I have full confidence in Jacobe and I thought I thought he had a good game. um you know, obviously missed a couple um but I thought he played really well and I’m I’m proud of him. Four losses in a row. Yeah, I mean it doesn’t feel like that. Um you know, they’ve all been close. It’s just frustrating, you know, losing the close ones um to to not get that win. But um you know, I’m really proud of the team how they came out. Obviously, the Colts are a great team on a really good run and um you know, I felt like we should have won that game. We had a great opportunity to win the game at the end and we just fell just a a hair short. What did you see on that last play? You know, I had a little outbreaker and um you know, I I thought I got you know, a little pass interference, but you know, they didn’t think so. Um, just unfortunate, you know, but uh, like I said, I’m proud of the offense. I’m proud of the way all the receivers stepped up, Beach, Elijah with Travis going down early that change a lot of stuff in the game plan. So, I’m really proud of the way the offense handled the, you know, change and Amari going down. There’s a lot of lot of moving puzzle pieces and I’m I’m really proud of the way the guys handled that. Does this loss feel different? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, they all hurt. Um, but I’m uh I’m They all suck. You know, losing sucks. You want to win every game and uh yeah, this one hurts. But at the same time, uh I thought we showed a lot of resilience. I thought we showed a tough, you know, physical football team. And uh the only thing is to to move on and and go beat the Packers. Is there going to right now? Is there any one thing that’s jumping out to you? I just think we got to score more points than the other team and we’re not doing that right now. And um it starts with the offense. Way to make plays. We playmakers literally. So we just got to find a way. I I know I sound like a broken record, but got to find ways to make the plays to win the game. What did you think of Jacob’s performance out there? I think Jacobe played great. Uh I didn’t expect anything less, though. Jacob’s a great quarterback. Um and that’s how we assemble our team. We got a so many guys that can make plays. And so, you know, when it’s your turn to make plays, that’s what you ought to do. And you owe it to yourself, owe it to your teammates. And um proud to co you know, he’s like a big bro on the team. And um I didn’t expect anything less. We’ve been watching Dakota Kobe play for years, honestly. Over a decade. What did this opportunity today mean to you? It had been a while since we kind of got an opportunity like that. Uh uh what do you mean by that? Just the Oh, just like the amount. Yeah. You know, I think uh last week was hard because that was my honestly the most touches I’ve gotten in a game in like a really long time. And so there’s like an element to that that like you can’t really replicate in practice um or like in a summer workout or something. So like it was I feel like I played okay last week. I’m glad I scored a touchdown, but I think this week I I honestly probably played like a little bit more explosive and um I think it’s just a matter of just continuing to get better every day. We really actually I mean we’ll watch the tape. I think our offensive line blocked well today. So, we got to just continue to build on the things that were doing good and fix the things that were maybe not. And I know there are no moral victories, but given the guys who went down and then the guys who stepped up in their place, does does it make you feel better knowing that just, you know, two, three guys down the depth chart, like it’s the offense isn’t missing that much of a beat? I think I think the main thing is like we expect to make plays whoever’s in the game. So I wouldn’t necessarily say like it’s it’s like a kudos to the depth because we all prepare like the starter truthfully. So whether it’s JC in there, you know, or like you know Trey or I’m just talking about the running back room at this point, right? Or me bam or Mari or even Deis Munch, you know, we’re all going to prepare like it’s our turn. So, um, all you can do is put your best foot forward and, uh, and and execute when you’re in there and, you know, live in the moment cuz to be honest, like you kind of get in a position where it’s like I got nothing to lose, like if I do bad, you know, but at the same time, it’s like you want to put your best foot for your teammates because these are our dreams, our goals, our aspirations, our families are being fed off this game and um, you owe it to your teammates to do your best. So, how’s this team handling four losses in a row? Sucks, but at the same time, um, we’re so close. I was just saying that earlier, we’re so close to we could have won every game this year, you know, and you know, would have, could have, should have, but like we are, we are close and that’s a fact. So, it’s about just finishing late and uh we will find a way like we’re going to
