Pittsburgh Steelers’ Aaron Rodgers ‘did his part’ vs. Bengals | Pro Football Talk | NFL on NBC
And listen, Mike. Wow. That that was my thought last night. Wow. I watched that replay and it really it it wasn’t close. I mean, no one really had a shot of getting it, but it was in the end zone. Aaron Rodgers casually drops back, gets the blocking that he needs, and just launches it. I How many quarterbacks How many quarterbacks can do that? And for I I don’t What? Five maybe 10 quarterbacks in football who could do that. Amazing. I didn’t think he could I didn’t think he could still do that. That’s incredible. It was unbelievable. And he and he did his part of it. It’s up to the receivers to be in position to track the ball as it’s coming down and get in position. You got DK Mechav. I don’t know if he got there late or what. He kind of had a hand up as the defender was knocking it down. Great job though by the defender to see it incoming and to and to knock it down. But he put he put it there. He gave them a shot and that was incredible. 60 yards from the end zone, 69.8 airs and he still got it. He still got it. You know, uh there are certain things about Aaron Rogers that some of us disagree with and that’s fine. It is indisputable. He still can throw the football and he still has enough mobility to buy himself time to get away. He did it on the play where he hit Pat Fmouth for the go-ahead score. He eluded Heuted defender rolled a little bit saw it busted coverage wide open piss missile touchdown 68 yards. They scored too quickly but again you can’t control when you need a touchdown. You can’t control when you’re that far away. You got to take it. You gotta take it and you gotta hope your defense plays like it did on the drive that got you the football back. One last thing about Rogers. I don’t know if you noticed this, but on that drive where they scored the touchdown that put them up 3130 cuz I had seen him earlier in the game hitting the smelling salts. And the rule is the teams can’t supply them anymore, but you can bring your own. It’s like one of those restaurants that doesn’t have a liquor license. You can bring your own bottle. Like you can bring your own smelling salts to the game, right? and he had it out on the field before that drive. He was popping that thing and he threw it down on the ground. So, uh I I mean I don’t know. I don’t know what cobwebs you got to clear out that late in the game. May maybe it was from getting tackled by his teammate after the touchdown pass. Maybe that’s maybe that’s why he needed to clear clear things out. He got rattled a little bit when he got tackled. So, uh, it was a fun game and, um, it was, we’ve had some good, we’ve been spoiled by some exciting prime time games this year. You know, uh, Mike, you you talk about Rogers with the smelling salts. between between Rogers and Flaco. You think how many how many potions, how many riveties, how many secrets, how many things those guys know from just all their experience of of leading teams and and and different teams and different coordinators and different trainers. Yeah. Uh so they they get they they got all the tricks. Uh both of those guys, it’s almost like uh uh some of those those baseball pitchers uh who’ve been around for a while. You remember remember Gaylord Perry and he’d have stuff in his uh back pocket and he kind of Yeah. stuff on the hat and Yeah. And they come out and search him and what what are you searching? I got nothing. What are you looking at? Well, wait a minute. How about your elbow here? So, uh, not surprised that Aaron Rogers, I think he knows exactly what to bring to the game and and how to get himself through a game. He almost pulled it off last night. I’m I’m just I’m just shocked by that throw. That throw just blows me away. Hi, it’s Mike Fuio. Thanks for watching PFT on YouTube. Hit subscribe for the latest news and analysis from Pro Football
Despite Pittsburgh’s defense ultimately spoiling the Steelers’ chances against Cincinnati, Aaron Rodgers delivered a vintage performance with four touchdowns against a division foe. #NBCSports #NFL #ProFootballTalk #CincinnatiBengals #PittsburghSteelers

The Steeler defense was the reason for the lose all the way. They did nothing all game. The bungholes are horrible and wide all over the Steelers. Embarrassing
yes he did, sometimes you are right also 😊
Flacco can still launch a hail mary too.
Chase brown had like 10 yards a carry and Jamaar chase had a 170 receiving yards. Loss is 100% on the defense.
As a Steelers fan, I can admit that the Bengals were a better team than their record, and Flacco still has some gas in the tank. But when you hang 31 on the board you should win the game.
Should of put porter jr on chase but Ramsey and his ego
He’s right. The last rule change ever made to help defensive players was the ban of chop blocks.
No one cares what you disagree with Rodgers about…I know it’s hard for you Mike, but try to focus on football instead of getting in a little jab every video.
Pitt didn't cover anybody the whole game…zero blitzing…most NFL QB's can throw to wide open receivers all game with no blitzing…game almost looked a bit suspicious
Same old steelers, if they even make the playoffs, they will loose first round again
Thank you for voicing my question about ending of game. I thought Rodgers could throw 25-30 sideline pass & kick winning FG. Danger was if pass failed, no longer in range for hail mary, even with Aaron’s arm. Also, agree the slide created uncertainty, points on board vs probable FG. At some point have to trust kicker & respect probability of success. Last, if Tee would have scored, Likely Aaron would have driven for winning TD. Thx.
Yes Aaron Rodgers did his part the offensive line did their part and the offense is getting better but the defense is stinking it up every other week maybe we should give them all a raise every single week so that they'll show up to play
Just because he throwed the Ball a long distance!! Wow!! RIDICULOUS!!
