Wheel team good
Man, I really wanted Finnie to score on that late breakaway last night, he deserves a goal for his efforts thus far.
In 20 years I’ll be telling my grandchildren that I saw ASP score his first goal live. Hopefully at least one of them will be into hockey & not just stare at me blankly before wheeling me back into my med pod/bacta tank/futuristic morphine dispenser
It’s so refreshing to have an actual hockey coach. I hope he doesn’t wear out his welcome with the players. He definitely comes off tough but fair. The players are all saying the right things about him being direct and them being appreciative of the feedback.
I think as long as the team is getting results players will be receptive.
What’s the first tie breaker? As much as it is cool to see the Wings at the top of the standings, I can’t get past the loss to the #2 team, Montreal. I would think head-to-head match ups to be given more weight. Is the first tie breaker, hyphenated names / 60?
Was rewatching awood40’s recap and the noise Mickey makes on the replay of ASP’s goal when the puck’s on its way to the net is just great. Cracks me up so much.
