That play was amazing. like being able to play through the hands, discipline, didn’t interfere, was able to the ball, got got it down and got the knee down. Yes. Got down. And during that drive, the bigger play I liked on the third down that he converted. It was third and four when Slay they came down and they was basically in a zero coverage just doubling Jamar Chase safety came dropped down left him zero coverage with that and he just black was throwing it on time looking at the players manto man. Okay boom like dropped it right over his head on that deep third and fourth to convert there for them to be able to get down there to score. So I’m like Flaco was looking good. defense was not making those plays that they needed to make. Oh, no question. But again, dude, it’s not it’s not over, baby. It’s not over. It’s not over. I can see if they contest it, but running Scott free, that’s Mr. Simons. No question, man. Then the offense, they come back out, they do a three out, and I’m like, “Yo, no. You And but the thing that was getting me the thing that was getting me though, bro, was we were running. If we were running man coverage, we got to still at the end of the day try to still protect the sideline. Like he’s running out. He’s running deep benches like 12 and outs. You know what I’m saying? Getting the ball and being able to get to the sideline like at we should be able to at least trap those. A couple of plays I was looking with Jamar Chase ran the ones with um Jaylen Ramsey was running across in motion with him and he would run the out route. I would want uh slay outside corner like you you if you get outside release look back in he’s in the slot Jamar Chase steal that you know what I’m saying like have a safety over top you can go steal that so it was just not good good plays and then the last play with the well the one that the safety tried to steal ended up being a touchdown you talking for for uh for um for the Bengals Oh yeah no no they they was they was they was tripping that safety. He needs to just be backing over the top. I’m talking I don’t know what he was doing on that one. He was wild. Now we got to use our timeouts. We can’t stop him. 36yd field goal. It was the great Higgins caught the fade ball too and was and got down and didn’t go score. Didn’t go get the ball back. IQ up there. I’m like IQ on a thousand. He’s thinking about winning. He’s trying to win. Yeah, dude. Yeah, it it was not Dude, it was it was not a pretty performance by us at all. We have problems. We have defensive problems, specifically run and pass game. We ain’t faced nobody, dude. We done played the Jets who we beat, but it was a 19th ranked offense, dude. They still gave up 182 yard rushes. That’s like what 47 a pop. The running back had five and some change a pop. And Justin, he ain’t had that much, but he was efficient. 16 to 22 for 218. We lost to Seattle, who is a 10th ranked offense. We gave up what? Four yards of rush that game. Mhm. Running back Walker, that boy had eight yards a pop. Arnold almost had 300. Like we had two turnovers, but we we gave up two. We traded. I think both got 10 points. We broke even there. Lost the game. And then New England 26 in the rush, dude. They got a They got 119 yards rushing, which ain’t a lot. It ain’t It ain’t a lot. It ain’t four yards of rusher. Oh, their biggest rusher was the quarterback. I think he had maybe six of rough, but they they they also had 27 yards pass. The only reason we won that game is we got five turnovers. They either stopped themselves from scoring or we stopped them from scoring and ended up getting points from it. Plus, the quarterback was sacked five times and in key situations. So that win right there, we wouldn’t have got it without all of the turnovers and the pressure. Mhm. Minnesota again, 25th, 21st in a rush. 70 yards ain’t bad. Not bad at all, dude. We we we we we gave up. We gave up. 350 passing. We got two turnovers that helped us. One field goal got blocked. The other one we scored a touchdown on. But again, we got six sacks. We got pressure on him. You know what I’m saying? So, we made them. We We We They wasn’t doing everything great. But if it wasn’t for the fact that we got the turnovers, we’d have lost that one. And the Browns, though, 28, they 28 on everything, man. 65 yards rushing, but they tried to go in there and use a quarterback to pass the ball 52 times. You get him sacked and pressured. Like that was more the Browns. That’s like Yes. And then we get to the Bengals, bro. Dead last in the rush. 31st total and we give up 142 yards. You rushing six a tote. And the running back Brown. Yeah. 11 for 108. Had 11 for 108. Almost 10 yards a tote. Mhm. on top of we turned the ball over twice. They got 10 points off of that and Flaco bust us for almost 350. We have a huge defense problem. I’m looking at the talent we have. We have the talent, right? I’m thinking we have the talent. So, what is going wrong, bro? Like, what you tell me what is going wrong here? This is what it is, Debo. A lot of that BA don’t break stuff. We we do that all the time, but there’s too many times when people are running scot-free. There’s too many times where somebody’s busted coverages or people are just running wide open. Do you know what I’m saying? So that’s where on the secondary part, I’m speaking on the secondary first. On the secondary, there’s too many miscommunications. There too many people running scot-free on a lot of these things. And and then there’s zones. If you’re running the zone, you got to get to your zone. People need to be in the spaces that they’re supposed to be. when we’re bailing out on Jamar Chase and letting him just run these corner routes, you have to keep eyes on him. Leverage, you know what I’m saying? And then losing your one-on- ones, there were opportunities where when I love Jaylen Ramsey, but when you’re playing on the dude and you’re outside and you’re having them dudes, those are plays that they that they made and we didn’t. You know what I’m saying? Those plays that that they’re making that we’re not making are hurting that defense. Then at the same time, when you go to the running game, these are explosive plays. These dudes were running. Every time they toted it, they were getting to the second level. That’s on who’s that’s on your defensive line. That’s on the front line, dude. That’s on your front line. That’s on your front line, right? Getting some push back and getting him contact. He needs to be getting contacted before he gets to the second level. Like secondary making tackles. That’s because your somebody else in the front is messing up. It’s a whole lot easier to look at Jaylen Ramsay, to look at uh Darius Slay, to look at the secondary because those dudes are out there on the island playing verse ballers. So if nobody’s getting to him, you’re going to be able to see their mistakes a whole lot more glaring because, you know what I’m saying? They’re out there on the forefront. When the dudes running 11 carries for 108, why to the second level each time? There’s people. If you’re able to be that successful in the run, now you have to try and stop the run, which opens up your opportunities for easier, deeper passes because now you got to bring more people down into the box to try and stop the run. When you can’t stop the run, it opens up the pass. Period. And the only reason we’ve been able to win is Aaron went buu against the Jets. Okay, they did. That that that’s why we won that. The defense, not even the defense, the the Patriots turned everything over. Minnesota couldn’t protect and the Browns, they had a rookie quarterback. Yeah. Like we done spent all this paper over here on defense. And don’t get me wrong, like I said, the offense, yes, they have some issues, too. It it it’s it’s issues on the offense side, but we didn’t spend all that money over there on the offense. Yeah, we got DK, but yeah, we can’t effectively run the ball. Like, we got to do dunk game alternatives for running the ball because our offensive line isn’t effective enough. We got we got 51 tight ends that we just started using last week. We scored 31 points, Debo, the Steelers are supposed to win. Yes, that’s all I’m saying. offense. They feast their famine around here and and and and it starts with with with turnovers and pressure whether we get him or it self-inflicted and then we ended up picking them up because of the other team. They dude fumbled the rock how many times in New what? Three, two, three, four, I don’t know. He was It looked like a replay. He kept coughing the ball. It was three about three times. Yeah. I don’t I I don’t even know. Like we have to get this fixed on the defensive side. you can plainly see where, like you said, guys are missing assignments. Are we are are we not understanding what we’re doing or are we not explaining this well enough? If this is a coaching is this a coaching issue? Um like or is it just playing out you’re just getting beat and you can’t get to the spot that you need to be at and be able to do the job that you need to do? I It’s everything I believe, dude. I think when when when you see and and at the same it’s a lot of those because I was watching plays, brother, like when they had to drive the ball down on the last drive to go to go score and Jamar Chase ran the under route and he and the the the the text message that you sent he was fif like nobody was in the screen and that’s Jamar Chase running the underneath route for 18 yards when all they have to do is get down in field goal range to win the game. Like that’s just how how is he doing that? And that that that’s accountability like it looked like it’s three three it looked like a fire zone coverage and that means that had to be maybe changed. I mean you can see um uh what’s his name? Linebacker six. Yeah six. But I’m I’m I’m I’m saying we’re not in the locker room exactly but it’s either you got to fire. No I’m saying you can see he was confused. He’s pointing trying to tell somebody to go here go there and nobody moves to it when when when he motions. I’m like, but yeah, long story short, they need to get in the tape room, the film room, because those things don’t need to be happening. People that ended up running scotfree, like you said, Jamar Chase, there’s no reason he should be running down the field wide open for 18 yard game when y’all are trying to prevent a field goal to to win the game. Yeah. And like immediately, dude, I’m like 31 to 30. I’m like two minutes from change. Uh not liking it is is is Yo and dude jumps up like you go come on man. This this this young stuff that you doing to a 41 year old quarterback. You go jump on this man’s back and tackle him. You know you could have broke a hip. Yeah. Like this he’s a quarterback. He he is fragile. You can’t you can’t go doing all that celebrating and c Now it looks real bad because we couldn’t hold nothing. Dude, we’re gonna be in trouble. trouble. Like, we haven’t faced a top half offense. I take it back. New England was 16, but it took five turnovers, six sacks to get that accomplished, right? Yeah. Yo, we’re not going to get that against Green Bay. We’re not going to get that against Indianapolis. We’re not going to get that against Los Angeles. That’s not going I’m even worried about Chicago now cuz they 14. Buffalo. Come on, man. If we like you said though, it’s not a it’s not a personnel problem. We do have the personnel to do it. We are opportunistic. They do get a lot of turnovers. They just got to win first downs like get them behind the sticks. They weren’t getting them behind the sticks or if they did then Joe Flaco was throwing it on time, right? Even when we got behind the sticks, they’re getting third tens, twelves, 14s, stuff like that. Flaco was balling. He was throwing the ball on time. And that’s when you got to win your one-on- ones and be able to get after the quarterback. So, I mean, yes, we getting no pressure. Like, dude, we got to face Detroit, too. All they do is run the ball effectively. Yeah, that that’s going that that that could be trouble, dude. That could be trouble. That could be trouble. Oh, D. You stressing out, huh, bro? You stressing out. But look, this this the thing. This the thing, y’all. We still still scored 31 points. The offensive line protected Aaron Rogers. He was standing upright a lot of the game. And now the Bengals with Flacco. [ __ ] He Flacco’s not a dummy. You know what I realized? If you got a better if you got a better receiver than the than the the Bengals didn’t have on defense. That was a good football game by the offensive side of the ball and by Joe Flaccos because he was throwing the I don’t give a damn about a good football game. Like the defense did make a couple of stops at the end of the game on the fourth quarter. Offense could have drove down. They made one stop, bro. instead of punting. Stop. They got to get that [ __ ] on tape because the the running defense is not looking good. And then the passing defense. I mean, even in the on the offensive side, like it we’re having we’re having errors of what’s going on. People don’t know what’s going the flea flicker. Yeah, dude. He’s like, “What are you doing?” Like, “What are you doing?” I can the flea flicker. You’re running the wrong play. Yeah, he was hot. He was hot, dude. I I just I’ll get over it. So hopefully that feeling to motivate them coaches, players, everybody alike to get whatever fixed we need to get fixed and get this thing moving in the right direction. Like Yeah. as a with a 26 28. We’re not we’re not we’re not going to go nowhere. These offenses that we’re going to face in the next what four, five weeks, they ain’t they ain’t turning the rock over like that. They they they doing things more effective than anybody that we’ve played yet to date. If we come out there playing like we’ve been playing the last six, seven weeks, we go to get the band struck up on us. We go to get embarrassed. They go dog walk us. Damn, D. Drop your nuts, man.
