New York Knicks vs. Charlotte Hornets – Condensed Game

[Music] What an element he is going to bring to this team that they did not have before. Ston good spin move. Find some room. Another year he’s averaged 19. Another year he’s averaged 18. Clarkson. Not that time, but right there. Guys who again who don’t normally play with each other. Bridges boy, he is hot as a two-pointer, but he’s seven of eight. He’s got 18 points in 10 minutes. Pull. Well, Mike Brown has talked about both Carl Anthony Towns and Yaviselli that they have to learn two different positions as McNeely hits that one. And even Towns said it’s a challenge, but he’s he’s he’s open to it. Yoselli now after struggling from three, hit his last two over to Europe and he got so much better. Had a terrific season for the Sixers last year as Sexton continues his good shooting. Porty looking. Brunson gets in the paint. Back in his office. Floater. The Knicks effort on the defensive end there leads to an easy two. [Applause] Plumbley lays it up and in and draws the foul. You know, you look at at certain teams when you bring new concepts. Jaylen Brunson has said this too. It’s how you finish. That’s what they’re focused on. Canipple nails the three-pointer. Often playing against people a lot older than you. I wasn’t playing in the top leagues back then. Plumbley. Oh, what a block. Jameson met him at the rim. Look at the challenge here. Plumbley trying to poster him. As we approach the midway point here in the fourth, Simpson leans in and gets it a go. KJ Simpson with his second field goal. Perfect example of the latter is like a Taj Gibson. Oh yes. Later in his career, you couldn’t ask for a better guy. Guy like Garrett Temple who’s been in the league forever. doesn’t play a heck of a lot, but they make such an impact on young teammates. There’s Shamat making an impact. Good fish from Brunson. You are right when it comes to making the case for yourself for Landry Sh. Malcolm Brogman retiring. There’s one spot remaining as McBride high arcing three-pointer. Brown has had great accomplishments as well in the NBA and they love what they’re getting from him so far. This is hustle. Sloppy hustle, but hustle. Salad inside. Count it. And a foul. Playing hard all the way to the end here in the preseason. Getting after defensively, diving on the floor. Hustle plays. No one jogging up the floor. We want to get finishes. Do more. He’s letting his assistants run the timeouts. He said he got that from Kerr as well. Brunson slips inside. What a beautiful shot. Simpson hesitated. Reeves step back. Good looking shot there. McNeely gets to the rim. The good things is 31 seconds left in preseason. The real stuff starts on Wednesday. Can’t wait.
