Does Cody Bellinger make more sense for the Mets or Yankees? | Baseball Night in NY

Dave, where do you think
Bellinger is a better fit Mets? Yankees. I think he has to come
back to the Yankees. I mean, I think they need him. He was a great fit in the Bronx. He did everything. They asked
him to good Defender, you would work with the Mets to
but I just think the Yankees need him so much at this point
that they have to make others. I’m sure Scott boras is going to
be watching that tape of Cashman. Just, you know, county
is stacks of money at that point because that was a that
was a huge endorsement. Yeah, you just can’t ask for new
players to fit in any better than he did. I cry and I
think there’s a lot to be said for that. We’ve already been
down this road with the Yankees about guys that don’t have the
mindset or can handle that type of
pressure Bellinger did easily and produced, as Catherine
mentioned, had a big impact when they needed it replacing
soda was a big deal for that team in Belgium made it seem
like they just moved right on without
them, I agree with every word you just said and I can’t
believe how many Yankee fans seemed to be calling for Kyle
Tucker because like you said, it’s not plug-and-play Bellinger
can do this here, you don’t know what anyone else can
do and Bellinger. Hard answer your question about
Yankees or Mets because the Mets talk about run
prevention. He prevents runs at
four positions. It’s amazing. I’ve
never seen anything like it to be that plus at that many
different positions and hit like that. But I really
think he’s just need. They they can run it back if with the pitching that’s
coming in from their Farm. As long as they sign Bellinger,
they can run back a similar team, he would fit in with
anyone. He’s a great fit when you play for positions and Max
freaks at all, start for positions. This year, it’s true. It’s what any of those four positions,
Cody Bellinger is An Elite baseball player, it
has to be the Yankees, let’s not overthink this. I think the
Yankees have only gotten themselves into trouble when
they overthink decisions like these and don’t value the
human element Bellinger fits here. He’s proven that and look
at the whole road splits, he’s a 900 lbs guy Yankee Stadium 700
on the road. He fits in that ballpark match been yeah I
mean unless the Mets were able to trade a couple of their big contracts not talking
about so do maybe Lindor or Brandon Emma. Where does
Bellinger fit? I know he fits in Centerfield. Yes, of course.
He can’t pay another big contract. Or Cody Bellinger on
top of what they have. What do you think the market would be
for Bellinger? I think it’s going to be robust, he doesn’t have a qualifying
offer attached and he’s coming
off some good baseball that when he
came off that when he when he moved on from the
Dodgers, it was, is this guy an MVP or is this guy a
non-tender right 190? Now I
think it very well understood that easy
superlative baseball player. Yeah, I think he’s going to get
years and money. I agree. He’s got to stay with the Yankees better
fit. Their

  1. The Mets don’t need him, we have Carson Benge. We need a DH, Move McNeil if is possible, if not is ok. Next year we don’t gone have Martes so we need a player that can hit the ball and play good defense, let’s get Luis Robert Jr. for two years. This one is experiment for the right contract. He’s number decent so much he can’t ask to much, at the same time NY exposes him for a better contract in two year. But if he come back, we gone be lucky. I try to get Salvador Perez for 2 years, he can play 1B and DH. He can also help Alvarez in he’s development. Good ball club leader. Plus he can bring 25 HR and 80 RBI. So that is what we need.
