Let dalman walk. Let grady walk and a LOT of people complained. Traded up for Ruke. Drafted Penix. Moves that were criticized heavily by the media and our fan base.

  1. Been saying it! Dudes been way better than a lot of the fan base gives credit for. Good FA moves and trades too. Also, a lot of people hate on Blank for having too much patience but I feel like we’re seeing a good example of why it can be necessary in the NFL. Sometimes these things really just take time.

  2. Maybe now I won’t be downvoted when I talk about how solid he’s been since he got here. Pulled us outta cap hell and put together the best defense in tbe NFL.

  3. The offensive line has greatly surprised me this season. Specifically C and RT which were supposed to be absolute problems in pass protection.

  4. He gambled his career here with some moves and this season it’s boom or bust. I don’t wanna say it’s a success yet but this team has the strongest backbone of any he’s built yet. I think coaching has held him back a lot.

  5. Not to be a downer, but the most important indicator of his value to the team is wins, not individual players stats or PFF grades. The team has been unable to win much during most of his tenure and has shown mixed ability to do this year. If we end up with another 8-8 season, miss the playoffs, etc I’m not sure we can say Terry has been cookin.

  6. I had no qualms letting Dalman walk. He was always going to be getting paid more than the opportunity cost of having Neuzil start.

  7. at this rate he has bought himself another year. ironically enough a year he doesn’t have a pick in rd 1

  8. I’ve been willing to admit that for a while. With the exception of qb, talent hasn’t been the team’s problem for a few years

  9. Terry been cooking bro. The draft is a team effort tho. Heem, Zac rob, ulbricht, the scouts. Everyone has an input and they come to a decision. Its not a one man show on draft day. They’ve given us a shit ton of talent to work with. Im happy with what we got and I think this team will be a problem for the next few years at minimum. After getting some solid defensive coaches we’re really starting to turn this thing around

  10. You look around at other GMs in the league and see he’s obviously well above average (we’re just the Falcons and have the worst luck on earth as an organization). It could (and will be if we fire him) SO MUCH WORSE.
