Dodgers fan here. Haven’t followed what bad blood this rivalry much before the L flag but don’t Cubs fans don’t just care about their own team? If they’re mad about the flag then they can act like this if THEY beat YOU in a subsequent year. When little brother beat our 111 win team in the DS of 22 we just looked forward to having another chance, and it was extra sweet when we beat them last year. But we can’t take any joy in what happens to them after in the same postseason after they beat us. That’s lame. You lost. Get them back the next time you play.

I live in Madison, but I’m a transplant from the east coast. A Yankees fan by birth, but I started pulling for the brewers when I moved here about 12 years ago. Then married my wife, who is a Cubs fan, so I root for them over the brewers now. I’ll pull for the brewers when they’re not playing the Cubs (she will too).
Watching this series was so frustrating. Brewers pulled out all the stops for the Cubs but could barely compete with the Dodgers. Just another chapter in the sad saga that has been Wisconsin professional sports for the last 15 years (aside from the Bucks a couple years ago).

It’s just a loss for baseball. A team with 15 total fans makes the NLCS and scores 1 run per game. Cubs/Dodgers would’ve been insane

We’ve taken a step past our previous seasons. We won our first playoff series since 3018, bouncing the Cibs in the process. Killer regular season setting a team record for wins. The Dodgers series was a kick to the nards, but if you were told at the beginning of the season, after the Yankees series, that we’d make the NLCS, I think we would have been thrilled. I just choose to focus on the positives and look forward to next season.

As a cubs fan I’m just glad the brewers won their World Series this year. I know it was just a 5 game divisional series, but when that’s as far as you’ve ever got and will get, it’s good to be happy for them.
I love bashing on the Cubs as the next guy but we really gotta stop letting them live rent free in this subreddit. Yes, we find solace in beating them in the playoffs, but they have every right to laugh at us after our performance. It what’s makes the rivalry great.
