  2. Veach sees what we all see; we get no pressure without blitz and even then not much pressure. That could be a big problem deep on the playoffs.

    RB probably much easier and cheaper to acquire in a trade.

    Yin and yang dilemma.

  4. Seems like the right choice right now but get a good name instead of someone they trade for and rot on the sidelines.

  8. This makes sense. Only have the cap space to add one and the RBs have looked better and DL is more important. 

    Adding another top quadrant player at EDGE or DT would really make the Chiefs scary.

    The dude cannot scout edges. He’s just bad at it. At least for our scheme.

  14. Sebastian Joseph-Day from the Titans would make sense for KC. So would Jermaine Johnson and Michael Clemons from the Jets.

  15. I think the front offices expectation is that a fully healthy WR room will help hide our RB’s flaws, and that is my expectation too. Our running game already looks better than the beginning of the season when worthy was hurt, and we haven’t even fielded a true number 1 receiver yet. Doesn’t seem like it’s worth the cost of a trade this year but I hope it’s addressed in the offseason.

  18. People make a big deal about KC not having a breakout RB on the team like Saquon Barkley, Cam Skattebo, Christian McCaffrey, or Derrick Henry (in his prime), but I’m okay with that. If we had one, we’d have to pay them for their value, which would mean sacrificing pay for other players in key positions. We don’t need to do that. We have an elite MVP 3x Super Bowl winner at QB, a great squad of WRs, perhaps the best TE to ever play the game, and the RBs we have are able to get the yardage needed when it matters, and that’s totally fine.

  19. I know it’s not as simple as playing madden, but christian wilkins is still out there. And I hear he reeeeeeeeaaaally loves his teammates.

  20. Now that they’re running g Pacheco more from under center formation, he’s doing way better. That should continue. Is Christian Wilkins available or is he still hurt? I know he’s had locker room issues, but I think the Chiefs have a strong enough room to handle that.

  22. DL is by far the most important for this team. If this defense can get some 3&outs, that’s gonna be damn near a wrap for the rest of the league. 

  25. Spitballing a bit here but maybe Will McDonald? Still on his rookie deal, the Jets are going nowhere, and showed some decent potential last year? Price might be a bit higher than some other options though

  27. Feels like the right play given the on-field product; I’m cautiously optimistic that the passing game starting to click will give the running game some life.

    All that said, I would fucking love to see Breece Hall in a chiefs jersey.
