I’m sure he was well aware but let’s not pretend Ohtani wanted to stay.
Not surprising given the price gouging the Dodgers perform on everything.
I don’t know how you could’ve possibly quantify that given the endogenous nature of sports team economics, but ultimately yes I’m sure they will profit off of it. Also keeping in mind that most of that 700 million is deferred and we’ve just experienced massive inflation.
even if they didnt earn it back they will win 2 WS in 2 seasons… worth.
