Who wins the argument?
Also that last sentence scares me. Is their reaction to looking for a modern offense and failing, let’s not have any direction at all? I kind of wonder if they already have the coach they are hiring lined up and are going to act like they are doing a full process. It wouldn’t be the first time in recent memory.
Honestly, prefer this to anything. An actual open interview process where they define the Callahan failures and try not to repeat them. If they ACTUALLY follow suit it is the best case scenario.
From my understanding, most NFL teams don’t use firms. The pool is so limited, and there are so few openings that it doesn’t make a ton of sense. Nothingburger of a note there.
Would be surprised if we don’t bring in someone with HC experience. Locker room is too fucked at the moment to take a chance on another unknown.
Plus Amy tends to be reactive and go for whatever the opposite of the last guy was.
I don’t want the flashy hire. Give me a basic culture builder. Just like Mike Mularkey did for a few years. He got the young team ready for Vrabel.
I like this. Whoever they pick, I just hope AAS makes it clear that all three of them are fired if it doesn’t look decent within three years. And all three of them are fired if we’re still an absolute laughingstock after 2.
I think it’s scary in such a specialized profession as NFL football that you would hire an outside agency to do head hunting for you.
These two jokers are supposed to be proficient at hiring and keeping good staff. It’s basically their job.
I’m glad they didn’t go outside, that would make me even less confident than I already am in those two.
How about “is competent” is that a type? Or how about “knows the rules of football”? What an absolute joke of an organization the Titans are
I understand we’re ass but why are we being so toxic on every single post about the Titans, have some hope!!!
Just hope we aren’t getting a new gm, or coach for the next decade.
