John Jenkins: ‘We’re Just Trying to Live Up to the Standard’ | Baltimore Ravens

What would you say to, you know, when when a team’s one and five, there’s going to be a lot of people going right writing you guys off at one and five. What would you say to those who are quick to to write you off at one and five? Everybody’s entitled to their opinion. You know, the only thing I do know is that I come to work every day and I see a lot of guys who’s hungry who put the work in. So long as I see that every day from the guys in the locker room and in building an organization, it’s tough to listen to what people say. John, you you guys had moments of success obviously your fumble recovery, um the goal line stand late in the game. Um you know, did it just cumulatively wear you guys down though trying have to kind of come up with it over and over again? No, we we enjoy it, man. You know, you never know what happens is any given Sunday and we just try to live up to to our standards. You know, I’m new to the team. So, when I got here, understood the standard and I’m just trying to get get out there and do my 111, you know. So, if we get opportunity to make plays, then, you know, that’s what we call for and that’s what we’re going to do. John Zack Ore has taken a lot of heat with how the defense has gone. I know it’s your first year here, but what would you say in his defense? I’ve seen a lot of football. This is what my 13th year. You know what happens, man. But at the end of the day, man, Zach is a good good DC. I’ve been around a lot and you know it is he’s just putting in the work and man, he’s so passionate about it. I I stand behind him 110%. So, I don’t know what people are saying. I don’t pay attention to it, but I know he come to work and he put the he put the work in and it just takes time, you know. I know it’s not the result you wanted, but is this a big step for the defense this week’s performance, you know, especially compared to last week that you can take some promising steps with you into the bye-week defensively? You know, um, as a football player, we always told to turn turn to the next page. You know, we did a lot of good things out there, but there’s a lot of things we can fix. You know, including myself, I need to do uh a lot better on my 111, but uh, hey, we didn’t win the game, so we’re just going to keep working. Okay.

  1. Boy sure looked like a huge totally different offense with snoop huntley in there …… But i guess the ravens coaching staff can't see that being that they're with the team all week………. and we only see them for a few hours a week …… That's understandable……. … Great motivational stuff though.

  2. has any of the following phrases been associated with john harbaugh

pulled a rabbit out his hat  had an ace up his  sleeve  he dove deep into the rule book for that one  has john harbaugh ever been accused of out coaching anyone

what is coach harbaugh good at  renown for  is it strategy  tactics  play design  xxs and oos  time management  in game adjustments   anything  i will wait

ravens its time you hire a coach with a killer instinct  drive  winning attitude  a complete knowlege of the rule book  and a savant at something  anything  like tom brady  nick saban  sean mcvay  reid  mike macdonald  or some up and coming coaching savant

steve needs to sell the ravens  a s a p  because his laisse fair attitude toward his team has trickled down through the whole organization  his choice of harbaugh as head coach is owner malpractice

harbaugh never was a  h o f  calibre head coach  he is not even an  n f l  calibre head coach  multiple instances of coaching malpractice do not constitute  n f l  calibre

that first 5 year install of lamars offense with roman should have been evidence enough let alone 17 losses after leading by double digits late

when his facade as competent head coach is blown he passes the buck or throws others under the bus or just loses it on the sidelines

  3. Make it make sense. You have seen how CR plays. You’ve had Tyler Huntley and have not given him a chance to prep with the team. Then throw him last minute when the game is all but lost

  4. Boooooo why would you run two tush push plays back to back on the 1 yard line with Henry in the backfield! Horrible play calling! fire everybody Boooooo

  5. Flowers should be fired, that jerk likely needs to be fired the quitter Jackson should be traded. Biciotti and Harbaugh will make changes this off season for the rebuild

  6. Will somebody ask Harbaugh what's he sees in Cooper rush though 3 preseason game and 2 regular season games I didn't see anythings. But Mr. Microphone will defend his pick. I just incompetent know incompetent

  7. The fact that we never started Huntley in the first place blows my mind! Worst game I have ever been too. Thank goodness for Loop. It’s the only way we ever win and score since Lamar has been our quarterback
