  7. The Flames are playing like an elite franchise. Unfortunately its an NBA franchise, playing preseason games with preseason effort and coaching decisions well into mid october.

  13. I’m just here to say that Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee didn’t not deserve the criticism when rest of the the skaters group barely showed up (Koodos to Dadpower Huby to get us on the board).

  14. I think we should extend the coach and hang onto Coleman and Kadri when they are at peak value. (Finds out that’s exactly what we did).

  16. Just got back from vacation and have been away since the start of the season. Wasn’t checking in on hockey at all. Came back wondering how the boys were doing and am just speechless with how bad of a start we are having.

  20. Did the coaching staff change the whole defensive system of the team in the offseason? Literally no one looks like they know where they are supposed to be or who they are supposed to be covering. I hope Wolf chewed their fucking asses out in between periods.

  22. lol we’re 1 crazy lucky bounce and a 50/50 high stick goal away from being 0-6 to start the season. Should we do what the yotes did like 5 years ago and turn this sub into a sub about literal fires? 

  29. Focusing on the bright spots to help us get to Monday:

    * Kids looking good: Parekh and Honzek, here’s to hoping Gridin would be with the team soon (he already has a goal on his debut with the AHL)
    * Huby getting his first goal in his first game
    * Cooley had a strong period despite giving up a goal
    * I’m presuming we’re gonna have 2 more days of Kipper facts at least
    * Edit: I want to add the fact that we won 2 fights, good job Lomberg and Klapka

  35. Early signs not great. Compete isn’t there, speed isn’t there, finish and details not there. Goaltending looking average. Starting to grow concerned some of the vets are starting to look long in the tooth.

    Still love these guys though, and ride or die with them to the bottom of the toilet.

  39. After Hours Bieska just roasted Sharkie and basically said if he isn’t going to put in more effort, he should be sent packing

  40. All I have to say is thank the goddamn universe Montreal does not have our first this year 

  43. One can hope that kadri actually asks for a trade so his value isn’t sewered completely

    I know sophomore slumps can be rough but fuuuck

    Also, all the people who got quieted about him last year are getting loud again =_=
