But like why???? The only chance Restrepo has really gotten was a catch in traffic. I like Mason but nobody can convince me he’s actually better than 99 catch in traffic Restrepo 💔

  1. Mason kinsey is not getting promoted to play wr, hes getting promoted to play special teams, which restrepo cannot do because hes too small

  2. He’s getting catches in traffic because he runs a 4.9.

But seriously I’m for it. I think he should get the chance. He has the mitts, he can use change of direction and his ability to read defenses and awareness to get open. The difference in a couple of split seconds matters on screens or deep passes, but he can still find soft spots in the defense and gain possession catches.

  3. Restrepo is a one trick pony that would be exclusively used in the slot with no special teams upside. He cant return, can’t be a gunner, can’t play on the outside, can’t run block, and is slower than average for the position. There’s almost no upside to have him on the field. I’d rather give targets to guys like Ayomanor, Dike, Oliver, Helm, and Chig.

  4. Why are people in this sub so addicted to being terrible? How many Tre McBrides do we need to fawn over before we understand Restrepo is not going to be a quality NFL receiver?

  5. Y’all. Give it up. Restrepo is not an NFL player. Kinsey sucks but is an experienced special teams player who has a role on the roster. Restrepo would just be a body.

  6. Has this sub been taken over by annoying Miami fans in the same way it was by Oregon fans when we drafted Mariota?

  7. Kinsey isn’t an nfl receiver. That’s 100% proven. Restrepo MIGHT be a nfl receiver. That’s my issue, we should find out. Kinsey doesn’t offer a damn thing besides a funny Simpsons meme every offseason.

  8. Man look Cally was a moron that was in over his head and the rest of the coaches on this staff are hardly inspiring, but they don’t have some kind of personal vendetta against Restrepo and they’ve been coaching for their jobs or coaching for their next one. If they saw anything from X in practice or in his play on the ps that they thought would translate to any sort of success in a real game they would have promoted him.

Coaches get it wrong all the time, and he might step up and be a difference maker, but I have to think the answer to ‘why not’ is he hasn’t really given them a reason to from behind the scenes. I’d be shocked if we don’t see him before the end of the year at least once but clearly he has some work to do

  9. LMAO at all these reply guys so negative to Restrepo. Saying “you think the coaching staff hasn’t seen what he’s done and he’s not good enough because xy and z”. Do you retards not comprehend that our head coach just got fired and he’s the guy that brings on coaches/people to evaluate talent!? How has that turned out for us? Let the dice roll. I don’t see you having any suggestions to our WR problem either…
