The offense kicked ass, and it was nice seeing Freiermuth score two touchdowns. We have a pretty good selection of tight ends on this team along with a nice running game and excellent quarterback play. Also, why did the Steelers not go after Aaron Rodgers a long time ago?

  1. For as much as tomlin talks about complimentary football, we can only seem to be good on one side at a time

  2. Pat should be one of the best tight ends in the league. He has the intangibles and skill set to do everything the best tight ends have been doing. I hope we don’t trade him and let him actually develop some more with us. He can do everything and he does it WELL when given the opportunity.

  3. Maybe unpopular view… in a shoot out you don’t want to score with so much time left. Pat should have slid.

Yes expensive defensive but they were bad bad last night.

  4. I admire your optimism but this game proved to me that they are the same old Steelers. Last nights embarrassment should be a long overdue wake up call to ownership. Absolute disgraceful display.

  5. I would also like to add that Roman Wilson had some meaningful contributions in this game as well.

  6. Glass half full, I like it and was anticipating a loss anyway. Those are the ones we love to drop. Still, I think Wild Card exit and extending Tomlins streak is realistic expectations. Absolute ceiling is defense comes alive for a playoff game and offense hums and we win one and get bounced in divisional.

  7. Yeah the running game was hitting which is a nice change of pace.

    The bosgod always delivers.

Kick return game was decent too. Seemed we kept starting past the 35yd line

  8. The other positives are: still up 1.5 in the division. The Browns are bad. The Ravens are a mess. And the Bungles had a good game but give it a week or two, they will surely Bungle 😌

  9. Listen, it was a bad game and I’m disappointed. That said, the bengals have been really shit recently so I understand the dismay, but Jamarr Chase is still Jamarr Chase and Higgins is still Higgins. I understand our defense not looking great against those two with good qb play. The really irredeemable part was the pass rush. Also, as bad as their defense is, they usually turn the ball over 2-3 times a game, this game they didn’t do it once, and yet we scored a comparable amount as other teams have. I’m not too doom and gloom yet.

  10. Positives?!?!?! NOOOOOO! You aren’t allowed to focus on positives being a steeler fan is 100% about throwing bfs and self-flagellation after every loss because losing a close game to a division rival who is in desperation mode in week 7 means that the season is over! Tomlin single-handedly went out there and threw 2 bad interceptions and PI penalties and Joey Porter and Broderick Jones are back to being BUSTS and we already got swept by the ravens and placed 3rd in the division! I cannot believe I have to read anything positive about my team or try and have an ounce of fun watching!!!!

  11. The return of pat friermuth, where he dropped a critical third down. Like I’m glad he made those two catches but that was more Rodgers being Rodgers than pat being effective

  12. I will take it my grave that second interception wasn’t even an interception! It also wasn’t Rodgers fault.

  13. Dude these positives aren’t real positives. This was the Bengals defense. We’re better than last year, but I forsee another first round playoff exit for us.

  14. I’m trying not to overreact. I just can’t help but think “Ahh the classic wild card defensive recipe.” On the plus side, when we give up 40+ in the playoffs, we have a QB who can keep up!

  15. OLine played well too, Rodgers got all kinds of time. I know the bengals were down their best pass rusher, but they still looked really good. The only sack on Rodgers all night came from Broderick Jones himself.

  16. So excited to see the O rolling again, had me some major Ward, Brown, Ben, Bell flashbacks!

  17. I definitely don’t think you can say “offense played great” when the two interceptions led to 14 Bengals points.
