“You learn more when you lose than when you win” | Paul Maurice Postgame Reaction 10.18.25
first on uh we’ll get a better look at him tomorrow. We’ll have probably by Monday we’ll know. What made Alex line so difficult to Oh, he was good. You know, he was uh he played we’ve seen him play those games before. We uh had some action around their net and he made some good saves. Obviously playing a lot of hockey right now this break coming up. Is this good? Is is there a reset aspect to it, you think? Well, when you’re when you’re not playing the way you want, you’ll take everything as a positive. So, we need the two days rest. Seven games and 10 and a half days to start for us. But so it’ll be good to get off, get a practice in. A little bit of a necessity, but a lot of different looks on the power play. Just anything stand out to you? Well, we put up 15 and didn’t get it there. So, we certainly came out with the mentality of shooting the puck tonight, which we didn’t uh we didn’t think we had enough of uh but out of sync at times. It seems like every game we talk about how good your goalender was. But Bob, tonight Sergey made a bunch of great saves for sure and and they become more magnified because you’re chasing the game and we get on the power play that much. Something’s got to go for you on the road and then you give up two. Usually a pretty good penalty killing team, but we’ve given up a and that’s the difference in the game. We a onegoal game and um in even strength and we’ve got to find a way to do a little more there with our five on five play. When you have the injuries kind of stack up like this, how do you how do you sort through it? Oh, we we don’t really I mean none of our injuries are coming back. So, this is our team. There’s no real point in thinking that you’d be better with the guys. This this is the hockey team that we have and we’ve got to find a way to get a little tighter in in all our little areas and and maybe a little uh little heavier on the net. I think at the other end, we get out of the way a little bit on some of those shots. So, scratch and claw. Do the past experiences allow you to weather losing streaks like this a little easier? Well, we we’ve had a we’ve had one of these, two of these each year, and it’s all part of it. You you always get more out of it. You build more. You learn more when you lose than than when you win. Thanks, This one.

Bill Zito get us a center man ASAP
Hi
Playing like a bunch of strangers vs 2 time Champs. No more excuses bob and daniil are 2 of the only guys showing up.
Let's get back in the win column. I'm starved for some wins. Time to hunt
Win or lose I love Paul and the boys!
sorry to say but they play like they donโt careโฆ where is the energy?
I get we donโt have 4 of our players right now but we have too much talent to go 0-4 in 4 games. Lundell, Ekblad and the rest of the gang needs to step up.
So Tkachuk and Barkov are the entire team's heart and motivation? I had my suspicions, but now I have my proof. Didn't want to admit that was the case, but it clearly is.
Paul is a great coach, Florida is going to be better.
Buffalo has learned a lot
What do you need to do Paul is tell your guys to stop taking these stupid injuries, how many more guys are going to be on the injured list? Like whoโs next?
๐ฎ๐ฆฌ… Panthers are in trouble…
