Rams and the Ravens. Rams win this game 17 to3. Top five graded players that we had for the Los Angeles Rams. Quarterback Quinton Lake an 87.3. Linebacker Shawn Dolac an 84.2. Quarterback Darius Williams an 80.8. Linebacker Nate Layman a 78.3. Quarterback Emanuel Forbes a 76.3. And then Matthew Stafford in this game a 68.2 on Buffalo or on Baltimore side of things, excuse me. Defensive tackle John Jenkins top man at an 89.8. Offensive guard Andrew Vorhees behind him with a 77.3. Hatback Derrick Henry with a 75.3. Linebacker Trenton Simpson a 72.7. And wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins a 70.8. Had Cooper Rush and Tyler Huntley in this game. I just wrote down Tyler Huntley’s numbers because quite frankly they were better uh at least grades. 66.2 overall grade is what Tyler Huntley had in this game. St told the story. Dan um similar to the Steelers against the Browns. I I just think look the task and Derrick Henry ran the ball a lot better than I thought he would in this game. The Ravens had that part going a little bit but you got to be on your agame against this pass rush. I mean you you need to beat Jared Verse and Byron Young and these guys you needed Lamar Jackson because it’s just there’s too much pressure and this Ravens offensive line is not pass protecting well in big spots right now. But this Rams pass rush 73.8 28 pass rush grade as a team. 50% pressure rate, 80% pass rush win rate, four sacks in this game. Byron Young, I actually want to shout out as as he wasn’t in the top five there overall, but I want to shout out as my most impressive because I think this is just somebody who needs to be talked about more as far as the season he’s having. 80 pass rush grade in this game, eight pressures, two sacks. He’s got an 85.8 pass rush grade for the season. On the other side of Jared Verse, freak puna Ford inside. Never wronged you early on young. Best thing you can be. Where did I have him? Now I got to look. I mean it’s it’s you Kobe Turner inside freak. just this Rams pass rush is on that group in that group of units with Cleveland, with Pittsburgh, with with those teams to where you need your agame up front no matter where the game is played or what style of game you’re playing because I think to me that was the difference in the game is that this offensive line and Cooper Rush and Tyler Huntley, whoever was playing quarterback any given snap, they just didn’t stand a chance against this front four in a game where it’s it’s wild for me to think that the Ravens played a lot better in this game overall than I thought they would and they still lost 17 to three because this this defensive line for the Rams is just an absolute monster. I had Byron Young as edge 11 as a third round grade. That’s where he went. No, third or fourth round. I think he I think he did. I thought I thought I was higher on him. Maybe I was just higher in consensus and he ended up going third round. But I like Byron Young when he was coming out. I’m counting it as a win. I don’t care. I don’t care. Whatever. Uh sad told the story honestly is the Ravens fumbles and it’s the you know it was the it was the fumble with Z Flowers and then sort of the botched exchange with Cooper Rush and Ze Flowers again once again. I mean the Ravens already couldn’t do that and the fact that they had two fumbles and and and both of them were lost. I mean it’s it just that’s how the game gets to where it is. That’s how you score three points and you’re never going to beat the Rams whenever that’s the case. So I think that that’s the stat that told the story there. The fact of the matter is just the Ravens are just not in a good place right now when it comes to their roster. They’ve got those stars hurt. Even the guys who are out there, they’re probably not playing 100%. You don’t have Lamar Jackson anyways. Derrick Henry finally had a good game, you know, in the first time in a in a couple of weeks here and it amounts to three points for them. So, they’re just not able to get it done right now. Zay Flowers was, I’m pretty sure, questionable in this game anyways that he was even going to play. Um, and so it’s just it it’s it’s tough sliding for the Ravens right now and it’s hard to think that it’s going to get better until they just get a lot more healthy and certainly until they get Lamar Jackson out there. Most impressive for me was Nate Lamman. 76.3 overall defensive grade, 17 total tackles in this game. Get the ice bath ready for this dude. 88.7 defensive grade on third down specifically. Uh, he was really a key part in them holding up a goal line stand. I believe it was a tush push, like a QB sneak where he was just like holding up that line of scrimmage there, which is a massive play from him and then made a couple of nice plays in coverage on third down as well. Most disappointing for me, I’ll I’ll just knock him out right now. Isaiah Likely. Isaiah Likely was coming off a really nice year, his best year as a receiver last year, and I know he’s been fighting through some injuries. He’s missed some time this year, missed the beginning of the season, but 45.5 receiving grade. Only had two targets for two catches in this game for six yards. In all three of the games that he’s played, he’s had a receiving grade below 60. So, he has not been this, okay, wow, we’ve got Isaiah likely back now. We can really get into our two tight end offense with him and Mark Andrews, and these guys are really going to flourish and thrive. It just has not been that at all whatsoever. I think he’s only got three catches on the year. He had one catch last week, and he had the two catches for six yards this week. So, I’m just disappointed that the offense has not been able to run through those two tight ends when they’ve really needed someone to step up. I thought Isaiah likely’s return was really going to help them there and it just has not. Yeah. No, I agree. uh disappointing part for me. Ronnie Stanley, who’s been struggling anyway, left this game with an injury again and and without him, you know, I know this is a tough matchup, but they have a hard time pass protecting without Ronnie Stanley there at left tackle. Shout out one more impressive guy because I already got Bri Byron Young in. How about, you know, Omar Spates, last year’s undrafted star linebacker, was hurt. He was out for this game. How about another undrafted rookie linebacker, Shawn Dolak from Buffalo getting in in this game, getting his first defensive reps, 35 snaps, and an 84 PFF grade. I mean, was he was the highest graded linebacker in the country last year, I think, at Buffalo, wasn’t he? Yeah. I I mean, and and he didn’t get drafted. And there was some being like, “Hey, this guy probably should have went round six or seven, but darn good athlete, really good mover in space.” And just for the Rams, I mean, I guess they’re just going to keep finding undrafted guys out here to put at linebacker next to Nate Lamman and have success. But I just wanted to shout at that shout that out. He’s been playing special teams every week, but this was his first defensive action. He was really good, too. Yeah, the the Puka Nua injury strange because he he gets hurt and he he leaves the game, but then he comes back, but he’s basically just a decoy. Like he didn’t really do anything after that. He was just kind of on the field for them. So, I think that’s the big takeaway of this game is actually monitoring that for the Rams moving forward. So, there it’s a sprained ankle. Okay. And there is a lot of thought that he’s going to miss this week. They got to go to London to play the Jaguars. Okay. They’re thinking it’s uh Ian Rapaore, Mike Gerafo reporting. They think it’s likely he misses this week against Jacksonville and then they’re going to reevaluate it during the buy and see where that goes. Oh, that makes They have the buy right after the London game. Yeah, that makes way more sense. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Especially with them sitting here. What are they? 4-2. They’re 4-2 now. You never want to drop a game. Obviously, you don’t want to like give give a game up, but you would you would want to make sure that Puganua is going to be able to play at 90% for you the rest of the season as opposed to 60 or 70% for you the rest of the season. So, it would make sense uh to rest him there. Shout out to the Rams corners who played really well in this game. Um what a pick from Quenton Lake. What a play that that was one of the best plays I saw. And and I know that that Rams fans have been really frustrated with the corners so far this season, but I think it’s it’s a little bit to the point of uh I think this was the Rams if I’m remembering this correctly. Uh McVey was asked about his corners because they were struggling early in the season and he was like, “No, I mean like we like our guys like we’re not like looking at anybody else. We’re not going to try to bring anybody else.” And I think Rams fans were like unhappy with that and they’re saying, “Okay, well, you’re just going to like let this be a weak spot of your team moving forward and maybe a reason why you’re not able to get as far as you need to in the playoffs.” And it just sort of goes to show that corners are just going to be up and down and and it’s yes, sometimes you get into a point where you need to you need to make a change here, but here you have a guy standing behind his corners and now they have a really good game for you. And it’s just now they they see the potential and they probably see the potential in practice. And so, not that we can’t, you know, question the rosters of of these teams, but it was it was just evidence to the fact that the Rams corners can get it done. I think that when you think about making changes in the secondary, you have to come to the conclusion that these guys cannot get it done. And if instead you have a situation where yeah, they’re going to be a little bit up and down, but you understand that’s going to be the nature of playing in the secondary anyways, you’re probably going to be okay with that, especially if these guys who have been in your system before, who you drafted, who you’ve signed, who you’ve developed, whatever that looks like. So, that’s I just wanted to point that out with the I think the way this team is designed, they have an outstanding front four at any given time on their Dline and they have a back seven that is solid. I I think that’s just the thing is, you know, you think about great corners and they they don’t have an individual as Sgardner, Patrick Certan type guy back there, but these guys have been playing together for a while and they play really well together. Yes, it’s always going to be a concern when you face teams with big-time receivers, but I don’t think that’s their biggest weakness. I’d be more worried about just the consistency of of their offensive line, especially in the interior week to week. But no, I mean, I I just don’t think they have a ton of big names, so sometimes those guys don’t get as much credit as they should. It’s a solid group. It’s not a world beaten group, but it’s good enough, especially considering the pass rush they

Ravens will be a part of History win division host playoff game Make some noise! 💪🏿🤜🏿👿
McVay hasn't said it out loud about the cornerbacks, but he knows that his game wrecking pass rush/ defensive line covers up for the average corner play in a significant way. That's why McVay is not looking to add new corners.
Where would you rank the Rams DL among the top units in the league?
That is a championship caliber defense. For whatever reason rams don't score a lot 😂
Two guys who think they know what they are talking about and using a point system they made up…correct?
As a Clinical Psychologist, I really like your promos for online therapy services. We could all use some professional therapy at certain points in our life to get us through rough spots in our lives. Appreciate your willingness to speak to your own experiences with therapy, good on you. As a public figure, its not easy to risk such self disclosure, takes a confident person to do so.
Rams didn't get a sack until the last 7 minutes of the game. I'm a Rams fan, but not blind.
Landman down in the 70s?? Your grading system is heavily flawed.
It’s nice seeing an ad for therapy rather than sports betting.
I would love to see the grading system! I would hate to be in your class lol😂 Because I’m not sure how Landman isn’t ranked high in this game.
Dress in suits, bring more energy to the analysis. A tad monotone.
Talking about the Ravens….stuff just doesn’t make sense, then you Remember John is the HC
I still got the Rams winning the super bowl. They have yet to hit their peak
