Can we just let the kid play for fuck’s sake
I’m already over Tocchet. Awful
Let’s allow this play out! He came into camp not in the best shape which has been admitted.
Putting everything under a microscope is not helpful.
I saw in another post bringing up the trade deadline and who should be dealt. Let’s enjoy and let’s the games play out before jumping the gun.
I mean… the point of the game is to win. They beat a way better team last night and kept them to 15 shots. Mich had multiple bad plays. No one wants to admit it that our “savior” needs work.
Tight game, he needs to be better defensively, he’d rather win than have more chances for us to watch him do michigans.
Fire Tocchet
Michkov benchings for no reason have to be met with a chorus of “we want Michkov” from the fans in attendance. I don’t wanna hear that “I play the guys whose feet are going” bullshit. It’s hard to get your feet going when you get 12 fucking minutes a game. May as well fucking trade him to the Sharks for a Center if this is the bullshit they’re gonna pull.
I wonder how these types of coaches look at a player like Kucherov. Kuch is a known defensive liability but also one of the best offensive players. How did he get to be what he is? Would you be benching Kucherov like you would Michkov?
It feels like professional malpractice on a developing team to continually do this to your best prospect. Very Flyera and on brand at least.
Michkov is too loose with the puck right now. Sorry but tocc is right on this one.
Are the ppl rushing in to rip Tocchet actually watching the games? I love Matvei and want him to be our elite stud – but he has looked sluggish, isn’t making smart passes – he doesn’t look like the guy we had last year even, let alone a year more improved as a sophomore
Fire Tochet
Death, Taxes, and Flyers making incredibly stupid decisions
So, we are going to completely crush this kids growth, creativity and confidence, huh?
I thought this is why we got rid of Torts…
It’s getting old reallllllll fast. I don’t see how you can improve if you are not on the ice. Sheltered on that Coots TK line then riding the bench. Let him make mistakes. Only gonna find his legs if he’s able to get on the ice
I just don’t see how we get ourselves out of the mushy middle. Our “elite” young player shows up out of shape and sluggish after one season in the NHL. Our first rounder from last year is invisible, and is going to get more reps on a really bad junior team and that somehow makes him better? We have Torts 2.0.behind the bench who will probably wring out more wins than this team deserves but won’t lead to either playoffs or a high draft pick. On top of all that the style we’re playing is still boring as hell.
I’m in this shit for life but it’s getting harder and harder to see a light at the end of the tunnel
Y’all are way too sensitive. Michkov came in injured and out of shape. He already looked brutal at times last year and he did not make the changes necessary to come into this season excelling. You can’t just talk about wanting to win now and then expect it to just happen. If he is really that competitive then he understands. Bit of reality check. Bobby brink and that third line puts in the work and you can see it. Foerster missed time in the off season and he’s still out there buzzing. Michkovs gotta catch up.
