Yep, I HATED the Patriots for years. But now that Brady and Bill are gone, I don’t really care anymore. 😆

    Speak for yourself, I will never not hate the Pats. Depending on how i’m feeling that day, I hate them more than our division rivals.

  7. Yeah, I don’t really get this mentality. I see people hating on the Titans or the Jags these days, meanwhile I’m over here hoping the Patriots and Steelers lose every game they ever play

  13. The Pats/Colts rivalry took me through my high school years. I already hate Drake Maye and it has nothing to do with anything he’s done.

  14. Nope, still hate them. That 2021 game was awesome and I got to go. Seeing Taylor put the dagger in them with that run was sooo satisfying. And yeah, sorry but had they not been on their historic run, Manning and that Colts team has probably one more SB win.

  19. I still can’t pull myself to root for them unless it helps us for playoff position or the division title and doing that I still feel like throwing up being happy they won.

  22. Patriots def broke our hearts, but Peyton ended up winning the best of five in the conference championships.

  25. Who knows?  There might be, potentially, a new rivalry brewing. 

    Pats are doing a great job rebuilding.  Maye is a legit franchise QB.

    There might be some more Colts-Pats huge games ahead.

  26. I was born in 81 and been a Colts fan since faulk was drafted so I totally get it. Funny thing is in the 90 with Bledsoe and Martin running the ball the pats were a fun team then, then the dark times came.. the time of bill and Brady and the evil Empire. The pats are still the only team I absolutely refuse to do rebuilds for in madden.

  27. I still don’t *like* the Pats and I never will but I can at least concede that I don’t hate them nearly as much anymore. The rivalry was more about the players in that era

    And they’re also still obsessed with the Colts. Ever see Tom Brady or Gronk on TikTok or whatever? They’re always taking shots at the Colts even if the Colts aren’t in the conversation.

  32. The patriots will always be the most hated team in the NFL for me. Fuck them. Drake Maye and Vrabel can suck it.

  33. Even then, I actually never hated the Patriots. I hate the Titans. I dislike the Jaguars. I tolerate the Texans. The Patriots? I never could make myself hate them.

  35. If you can’t name other players from the Patriots besides Brady, you were just a bandwagon hater/colts fan. Still can’t listen to bruschi without getting annoyed by his passive smugness.

    I did learn to appreciate Brady tho despite the history and the rivalry wasn’t the same once Manning left

  36. Never thought I’d cheer for them, but it turns out Bills fans are more annoying than Pats fans so I cheer for the Pats only as far as hurting the Bills. 

    Pats fans hated Manning but respected him. If I was wearing a Colts shirt during the Manning-Brady years, Pats fans were usually fun to talk to. 

    Bills fans are on par with Eagles fans as far as being jerks. 

  38. I was just telling my seven year old son how everyone at the 500 this year flipped off Brady and booed him…not that that’s a cool thing to do, but because it’s tom Brady and Indy still let him know he’ll never be welcome even after all these years at a completely different sporting event

  40. It’s still more than just Brady or Bill being there. I root against the Celtics and Red Sox too. I’d probably root against Harvard, if they were good at anything

    I hate Brady on the field his game was good and I was sad when he retired because all these days are gone now.
