Russ, maybe just um speak to just your group’s willingness to stay in the fight just given the adversity you faced kind of getting in as late as you did after the game last night. Yeah, I mean it’s going to be a hard game to win when you take six miners. That’s just what it comes down to. I mean, I think we have a good first period. Second period, we come out flat. We take a bunch of penalties. They get momentum and uh sure we have a good push in the third. Um could have probably scored one or two, but um we didn’t. And uh but yeah, just the the penalties cost us tonight. I thought your goal in the first period. Uh was there kind of a concerted effort on the power play to look for those kind of misdirection plays, those redirection plays with yourself or any one of your teammates in the slot there? Yeah, I mean, you know, there’s something we talk about a lot of the teams play the diamond formation now and you know, the middle is more open than you think. So, uh Frosty made a hell of a play and we got a lucky bounce. when you kind of look at these two games, um, you know, what are what are some takeaways that now you have a moment to breathe that you can maybe look forward to ahead of Saturday night in Vegas? Yeah. Um, you know, we lost four in a row, which is uh definitely not good enough and uh we just got to just got to take a breath. uh you know it’s been five games only and uh you know we kind of know what to do in here and uh you know it’s something simple as you know five on five we’re a good team. We’ve been a really good team for a long time and uh just the penalties killed us and uh but let’s just you know almost just pause and take a breath and and then uh then just get ready for Saturday.

“We’ve got to take a breath”
