Seattle Seahawks Just Got ANOTHER Reason To Be Excited For MNF…

All right, the Seattle Seahawks have another reason to be excited for Monday Night Football. If you’re new to the channel, we are Detroit Lions fans, but this channel is fully dedicated to teams that get overlooked by the national media and just don’t get talked about like they should. They don’t get talked about like other teams. Seattle’s one of those teams and we’ve been talking about you and um you can you can see on our channel, we got four, five, six teams that we talk about. Okay, first thing, uh right here, Sam Darnold. Okay, first of all, just out of this world. No, I should say out of this world, but he’s just been playing what you would hope for. Can he just come over here and play like this resurgent Sam Darnold? Or was it like, oh man, the the Vikings, everything was so great there and he just shined. No, Sam Darnold good to go. So, you can’t wait to see what he does in this game with Jackson Smith and Jigba, Kenneth Walker. Like, let’s do this. Here’s why this game is exciting, though. And I’ll get more into that when you talk about have another reason to be excited. I’m filming this as um as some results start to come in. Now, your next opponent is the Washington Commanders. You kind of look at the schedule and you’re looking at it and you’re like, “All right, you know, you’ve got you first comes out, you’re like, “Oh my gosh, we got Houston, then Washington, you know, a couple division winners right back to back.” Like, this is this is a little crazy. You get this win, you go into the buy, and then you come out of that with just really a stretch run and opportunity. Basically, half the season is over, right? This this win at home would just mean the world to you. Um, and we might look back and we might not remember the game against Houston, you know, October 20th. Remember that? No. But oh my gosh, be one, two, three, five and two heading into your buy. Oh my gosh. versus four and three like five-2 heading into the buy. Washington’s just in kind of in a little shambles mode. They’re your opponent coming out of that. Arizona’s Arizona. No one really takes them serious. They are who they are. It’s fine. Let’s go. Right. So, if you look at this, one of the things PFF did was let me go to it right here. This is kind of the matchup to watch. It’s Stingley versus Jackson Smith and Jigba. So, Jackson Smith and Jigba. Another reason to be excited for this game is you’ve got one of the best receivers in the NFL. Same thing, right? Coming to this season. What’s What’s Jackson Smith and Jigba? What’s he going to be like? What about Cooper Cup? What do we got this? And you’re just trying to these what ifs. It’s like what if he’s good, man? What if he’s really good? Well, third in in catches, first in yards, three touchdowns, 91 PFF grade, which is third. He’ll likely face off against Stingley, who struggled at times at 25. Stingley has allowed 13 receptions for 205 and has permitted only a 71 pass rating. Two of the best in the position collide. Love it. Another thing to look for is the Texans are kind of trying to get back on track to me. Will the Texans get back on track or will the Seattle Seahawks keep rolling this thing? Because we predicted this from the beginning. You know, I hate to say that because it’s like not not something I’m super proud of because I don’t want the Seattle Seahawks to be great, but you could kind of see it and we talked about it this off seasonason. It’s like hold on and I think we we move too fast and we’re like oh next game it’s like hold on think about what you did where you trade away uh DK Metaf which I thought was just genius. I mean look I mean just let’s go. You get picks. You get rid of Gino Smith. genius. I mean, it’s so hard to get a quarterback reboot your franchise. So, again, there was a couple moves that you made that’s like that was really smart because instead of winning eight, nine games a year, we could do that forever. You really went for it. And Sam Darnold’s paying off, Jackson Smith and Jig was paying off, defense is playing well, you have a defensive minded head coach kind of keeps getting you better and better there. All these things keep happening. Well, if I’m a if I’m a Seattle Seahawks fan, I’m really it’s like, okay, this is what we were hoping for and this is why it’s exciting and this is why you get that home field advantage back. Felt like, and correct me if I’m wrong, let me know in the comments from an outsider, it feels like the Seattle Seahawks home field advantage was lost once you started once the Legion of Boom and all those guys and Cam Chancellor left. I was like, “All right.” I mean, it was it was epic, right? um Marshon Lynch obviously and you wanted it to come back. You wanted that home field to come back like it was, but every time you got a little excited and you win two in a row, you’d lose at home. You’d win, you’d win one, lose one when you know just every time you want to really like let’s take the roof off this place, you’d lose. Now, it feels like this might be the coming out party for the twelves when it’s an opportunity to play at home against Monday Night Football. By the way, what do you make of this two Monday Night Football thing? I mean, it’s not good. It’s not good. No one likes it. Beat Washington, beat Arizona. Wild game will be against the Rams. Great. Beat Tennessee. I mean, beat Minnesota, right? Like, what are we doing there? Atlanta tough. Indie tough. Rams again, tough. Carolina win. San Fran tough. So real mixed bag and but there’s no juggernauts on here, you know? There’s just nobody that you’re just like, “Oh boy, Chiefs, Bills, Lions, something like that where, oh, it’s just no. I don’t see right those couple Rams games. The only thing I see Indianapolis, nobody’s no one’s worried about them. Just come on. Maybe I’m wrong on that. They just destroyed the Chargers. So maybe I’m an idiot. Could be. Um, okay. Another thing here, the Texans though, here, let’s think about the Texans. CJ Stout, Nico Collins, Christian Kirk, like they’ve got options. They’ve got ability to put up some points on you. I think you got to be a little bit um nervous from the standpoint of remember was it two years ago CJ Strad’s rookie year when he was unbelievable and then they just kind of fallen off last year and then this year it’s like I don’t know are they good are they bad like what what are they what are you going to get that rookie CJ Stra lighting you up or just like he can’t do anything interior pressure and he’s he’s not good so keep an eye on that let me know your score predictions in the comments. I think the Seattle Seahawks win this one 31-24. Um, everyone’s kind of saying it’s a lowscoring kind of battle type game and I think it will be in the first half. I think it opens up in the second half. One team’s going to get out to a bigger lead and then it’s going to open things up. So, I think Seattle gets out to the lead, opens things up.
