I love being the hardest working club in the league. I love having the most blocks and second-most hits per 60 in the NHL. I love that we're the most difficult team to score on behind only the generationally stacked Avalanche. I love that when one of our guys goes down we dredge another one up from the depths and keep on winning points. I love that, win or OTL, we make the ice miserable for the showhorses that hockey media thinks are entitled to roll over us on skill alone.
I loved listening to the Steve Dangle podcast today, hearing the Toronto boys call us the most void of identity club in the National Hockey League, knowing that we beat them in their own librarybarn with a player who hadn't scored a goal in two and a half years, on a team where the highest AAV player makes half the salary of Auston Matthews. I love the obliviousness of Leafs fans taunting the Kraken for not having an identity when said identity just smacked them upside the head and their overpaid stars look lazy and disengaged for going on a decade.
Boring feels good. I consider boring a compliment. Sure, I wouldn't turn down more scoring, but for the first time in a long time I know what Kraken hockey is, and it's led us to the best start in our history.
I can't wait to keep proving the doubters wrong.

We may be “boring” but our games sure aren’t. All these consecutive OTs are going to give me a heart attack….. I LOVE IT

I’m happy that they’re doing well so far but some more xGF could be cool but we’re 5% of the way in to the season so the early returns are early.. Its great they beat the leafs at home but its probably worth pumping the breaks when they two games before were both loses in OT.
I love that they’re showing more structure vs last year, and the power play so far is clicking but getting goals is going pave the way at this point. Not giving up goals is great (thanks Joey!) but being in the same company as the Sharks, Sabers, Blackhawks, Flames etc when it comes to scoring goals isn’t ideal.
4 ot’s doesnt equate to boring to me, takes 2 teams to play. Letttssss goooooo!
This is the clearest identity we’ve had since season two. I’m enjoying it.
