Didn’t write up a general overview for this one but it’s mainly focused on the Pacers preseason, injuries on their roster, etc. in case anyone was a bit curious.
You have to respect any praise coming from a coach as great as Rick
I don’t know if you have a YouTube channel but you are seriously the best contributor on this sub who is able to find moments beyond the Highlight reels that us Spurs fan drool over. and you sum it all up nicely and succinct. thanks again!
Aside from the obvious with Wemby, unlike reddit and twitter, Carlisle knows and understands that having three high-talent guards in a rotation that can all defend, facilitate, and handle the ball in a proficient way is a scary advantage in its own right.
Spacing is of course still a concern for us, but when you have a high IQ, fast and athletic team with the potential for elite ball movement, that’ll cause equal problems for the other team as well.
rick is such a class act and top 5 coach in the nba.
If Rick fucking Carlisle is saying the Spurs are a playoff team, that speaks volumes.
mAyBe wE’ll mAkE tHe PlAY-In 🤡
Man I’m so fucking ready for basketball
Love that he included we don’t have Fox yet 😳
I feel a little more valid hearing a guy who coached at the finals 6 months ago say this over a guy on r/nba doubting our ability this year lol
Keep sleeping 🥱
I have a ton of respect for Rick. He is one of, if not the best coach currently in the NBA. What he did with that 2011 Dallas team was incredible and so was the run he had with the Pacers to the finals last year. I think if Hali doesn’t get hurt they win that game 7 and are 2024/25 NBA champions, just really unlucky. To hear him give us this kind of praise as a team is really exciting and encouraging. This may be a special season! Go Spurs Go!
