Elias Pettersson 1-on-1 | Canucks at Capitals (Oct 19, 2025)

Alias, a game that just continued to present challenges. You guys lose a couple key players. You’re playing without one of your leaders in Brock Basser, but you find the win here in Washington. What does that say about this team? Yeah, uh I think it talks about our depth in the team, but um I think I like our start definitely. Um hasn’t been good recently, but today we talked about it and I really liked it. Like you said, you grab a goal 59 seconds into the game. What does that just do for a team to get on the board so early? No, it felt good. I mean, I scored on Denver against Dallas. Uh but it was good to score on the on the other side today. Well, that’s three wins in a row here on the road. You still got two games to go. How do you continue this? Yeah, I enjoyed this one tonight, but um understand what we did today and keep learning, keep doing better, and um yeah, keep it going. Congratulations on the win. Thank you.

  1. 9 forwards at the end of this game! We won this game but what cost? Hopefully everyone recovers soon 😊 Go Canucks! BTW EP40 had a great game today, 1 goal, 1 assist and two blocked shots from Ovi.

  2. Now if he has 1 bad game we cant start being negative. Esp at home games. Bring back the Lets go Petey chants. He just needs to keep building confidence. He also skated faster up the ice, asked for the puck on the rush, did a couple more dekes at top speed and had more dekes in general. Looks more confident. If he’s fine physically and just flips the switch mentally he’s back
