Dolphins Go Touchdown-less in Blowout Loss to Browns, Is It Time to Bench Tua? | NFL Week 7 Recap
always count on Sundays with CBS and Paramount+. Welcome back to Game Day felt like the Dolphins really just didn’t have anything to play for out there. They lose to the Browns. And so now we’ve got to discuss what’s next for this South Florida team. As we welcome preseason and in the off season and beyond, about when they should make a coaching change here. So we always try to. But today, for me, was the first time that it felt like Mike McDaniel realizes that this was too much out of wounds and we’ll be all right. But Pete, that’s been the conversation with this Dolphins team is that they are not going to make mistakes, and the coach is not doing anything about it. So where do we go from here? Well, you also have fast offense. And now all of a sudden he can’t make plays. And he threw a return for a point blank for for points setting up the know when but he’s going to go. What about Tua or anything from Tua right now that would week the leadership issues. And he came out this week and apologized after sound. And if I’m Stephen Ross we’ll se what you go. You know, if somebody offers me a first round pick for Waddle I’ll trade him too. Is this team is going nowhere. There’s going to be wholesale changes. They need to make changes. And you look at coach? Seeing Tua play puts more of an emphasis on why you have to have a quarterback all over four times today. And he accounted for all four of those turnovers. Pete said it should have 100 yards on the day. And this was a game where weather was going. It was heavy winds to start the day it was raining. You have two quarterbacks who don’t have strong well. And coming into the season, we knew that the Dolphins could run the ball or should be able to run the ball. They should have been able to run the ball, but for whatever reason, they have not featured come in bunches. It is interesting that ever since that reporter asked him about throwing interceptions, scoffed at it. That seems like he’s that’s all he’s done. I mean, this is what his fifth game with three or more interceptions in his career. Because Tua was the one and Pete you can attest to this. Tua was the one coming into training. Culture is fine. I’ve fixed things with Tyreek Hill. We’re okay. And then you have him last week saying well now the This locker room is broken. It could not be any surprise Mike McDaniel oh as le, culture, respect for your head coach, all of it. The it’s all out there because not only did he turn it over, he’s also an ambulance balls out there. He almost got Malik totally agree with you guys. I think you’ve got to tear this thing down all the way and build from scratch. You know, next year with a new coach, new new general manager, a evident w you repair some of the damage that’s been done. It is a relational business and it’s a relational locker room. That’s the way it should be. The healthiest locker rooms are meeo meetings. You just handle that behind closed doors to me on repair, and it needs to be completely burned down. But if he had a passer rating of 120 au said if you have a new coach or a new general manager who’s going to want to inherit, I don’t think anybody does because of the injury history. Like you have to call a game plan, worried era, when it was not the Todd Bowles era, the Flores Brian Flores era, when he was too harsh on him and too critical of him is on the marken trade for him. What are you giving up for him roughly is hao tailor the offense to what he does well, which is on timing. Throws those in-breaking routes. That’s what he does instinctually. That’s what he does. So for late round pick, late round pick. Yeah, I got to be because because it’s not just the player, just the draft compensation. There’s going to be another conversation about the contract of course. And howm to for a quarterback, if they don’t fire, I think he should bench Tua and put in Quinn Ewers. Well, I was going to ask you that because that most people. But you’re getting special treatment, as we’ve seen from Tua throughout the Mike took that FaceTime call and said, I’m here for you. I think if he benched him and let Quinn Ewers go out said that hee backup conversation. Is there a world where you can see play him to see? All right quarterbak next year. So I think it’s worth the very least of letting him go out there and see if he can do it. Here’s the thing. And I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to interrupt you, Haley. Who’s making that call? That’s what I mean, by the way, we’re I know we all might be out here, but we’re going to sit Tua down and play. Quinn. You are Tua Tagovailoa the first quarterback with three know it wasn’t sexy guys t they do get a win. Ran real quick. Your thoughts on on Cleveland. You know me. You know where I’m going with see how I lobbed you for that. He went right to the running back pass they showed that today 3.4 per rush. It don’t matter. They got he scored three touchdowns. Rush. And in that weather where you knew it wasn’t going to be a threat to throw the ball downfield. We’ree meantime, let’s take a quick time out here on game day recap. When we come back. And the Eagles offense has been under a lot of scrutiny from this panel, did

You'll be benching ewers for tua pretty soon because he sucks too. Prayers for fins fans. People told yall before the draft tua sucks after the hip injury
Tua Turntheballover
That lady is sexy what’s her name
Don't ya just love these shows where the only one who hasn't been in pads is headlining the show? What is she doing there? More DEI bullsh!t. It's hard enough to watch the "new" NFL but when you add a motormouth girl with a mic it's almost unbearable.
Tua's the biggest flop since new Coke
I think right now, Miami fanss are ready for the kitchen staff to start at QB.
Bench Tua
If you not performing well, sit his butt down!!!🎉
Build the offensive line first. No QB is good without protection, even the best quarterback gets happy feet when he gets wrecked again and again. The flip side is that a strong O-line can elevate a mediocre quarterback. Spend money, picks, and other trade capital on an elite offensive line and then build around that.
Trade Tua so he can go play for the jers as 3rd string QB
Tank to get rid of TUA!
It's time for the coach to go
I think the Dolphins have a new HC by the end of this week and definitely have to figure out what to do at QB
If they don't clean house including the GM I'm taking my time elsewhere. 42 yrs of my life wasted on this team
MIAMI FANS ARE DONE WITH THE TUA SHIT SHOW. BRING ON QUINN!!
Make Tua the starting RB now
Hate how they never give context that pick six was dropped & tua shouldn’t have apologized for calling teammates out if they missing meetings etc then he doing what he needed to do cause obviously nobody in the organization is fixing it
Can you believe the dolphins are the worse team in the NFL. Never would have guessed
Yeah, coach, quarterback, general manager, sure.
But line of scrimmage, line of scrimmage, line of scrimmage.
Hire a general manager and coach who understand the importance of line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, then the bells and whistles like quarterback and receivers won't matter as much.
But the Dolphins have done the opposite, the veneer of the bells and whistles wore off a while ago, and this season we see the results of the neglect of the line of scrimmage.
Dolphins are a laughing stock, coached by fuckin clowns, Grier is a fuckin clown and Tua is a seriously fuckin clown 🤡
The cte from those terrible concussions caught or are catching up to him and it’s basically the dolphins fault cause they played him when he wasn’t fully healthy from those concussions
