  9. The funny thing is fans of other teams will blame Leafs fans for driving out our star players. Well here’s a quote from our star goalie directly calling out the stars and it’s definitely not the first time they’ve been called out by their own teammates.

  17. Stolie also probably took note of the guys who were mucking it up after Marchment ran him. Shocker, Willy was a bystander. He’s paid for offensive ability, but if he had to miss a couple shifts because he jams up his hand while throwing a punch at someone, the respect that would follow would go a long way in the room.

  19. Guys , as a leafs fan, not even overreacting, but this screams locker room mentality discrepancy to me. O’reilly seemed to have an issue with player effort, now you got your own goalie saying you need to do better and stick up for the team. This message is too late in my opinion, i don’t know if the leafs have the right players to follow through with stolarz idea of a successful team.

    Even willy, as much love as he gets (rightfully so) cares more about style than effort if im being honest. No reason to burn the barn but its not a good look when your goalie feels this way, and he has every right to considering this team and his own personal history

  22. I feel sorry for Stolz. No one stood up for him after Marchment. Meanwhile, other teams go after whomever touches their goalie. Leaf players are pussies. This team will not bring the cup to Toronto. The players don’t mesh well, lack effort, and lack winning mentality. They simply play like they don’t care anymore.

    Where the fuck is the captain to call Willy out? This is the shit that needs to change with this team. There’s no fucking passion. Fantastic players who are highly skilled but not an ounce of fucking fire or passion in them. Your fucking goalie is the only one who sees this? Come on.

    I know the reports say 34 is vocal when the cameras aren’t on him and that he has the room but why is there no response to our goalies being hit? Ever. Starts with the guy wearing the C saying that shit is not ok. We’re the heaviest team in the league but they’re all playing like they’re Lane Hutson or Cole Caulfield ffs. Small af. Should be out there annihilating guys.
