MAJOR Mike McDaniel Update per Ian Rapoport | Miami Dolphins News

[Music] Dolphins owner Steven Ross is an absolute joke and he does not care about the Miami Dolphins because we should be here on the channel telling you right now that Mike McDaniel and Chris Greer have both been fired as head coach and GM of the Dolphins because the two of them are absolutely horrific at their job. McDaniel cannot lead a team. Chris Crew cannot build a team. Instead, we’re here to talk about how Ian Rapaort just reported that no changes are expected within the Dolphins organization at this time. That is incomprehensible. You just had maybe the most embarrassing loss in the last decade. Decade. You are one and five after the dysfunction leaked out of the building last weekend when Tu went to the media to talk about how people haven’t been showing up to player meetings and then you have a tumultuous week of all right does the team respect Mike McDaniel does the team respect Tua the answer is no by the way then you come out on Sunday and lay an absolute goose egg against the one and five Cleveland Browns, two of throws, three interceptions, the team practically looked like they didn’t want to be there and that they gave up and then the next day you’re not going to make changes because if that performance on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns does not get you fired, that is basically Steven Ross telling the world, “We are not going to fire them because all I care about is my relationship with the coach in GM rather than the actual product on the football field. Because if he cared about the product on the field, if he cared about the team and it having success, he would do the right thing and show that this organization has accountability, but instead were the laughingstock of the NFL. and he proved to the entire world that you can be [ __ ] dog [ __ ] at your job and still retain the position. If you want Steven Ross to fire Mike McDaniel and Chris Greer, like the video. I might be delusional enough to say if we get a [ __ ] ton of likes, this video goes trending on YouTube, we have it on the trending leaderboard by pressing that hype button, Stephen Ross could change his mind. Maybe I’m delusional, but it’s clear that Stephen Ross doesn’t care. I’m not delusional about that. I made a video about it last Monday afternoon. Last Monday afternoon, I put a video out. It was titled Stephven Ross does not care about Miami Dolphins football. Period. It’s all it said. That was the title of the video. And I displayed and I went through every reason that vindicated that belief. And if there is any more of a vindication needed, today is the day because I don’t know how many times I’m going to rehash this point, but that display of football on Sunday was not football. It it it was slop. Slop. There’s been a lot of people on Twitter talk about the AI slop that is being putting around with whatever the sore thing is. I don’t freaking know. That’s what that football was. That’s how bad it was. Everybody on planet Earth knows that what we watched on Sunday is flat out unacceptable as an NFL team. I’m I I’m telling you right now, I would rather go watch the New York Jets than the Miami Dolphins. I would Nobody know. Nobody believes Mike McDaniel and Chris Greer should still currently be employed other than the owner of the Dolphins. I actually am pretty confident that every other owner in the NFL would have fired the two after what happened yesterday. I know the media believes that. I know the fan base believes that. And the word of the day here at the channel is going to be accountability because it is evident you have none inside the locker room and inside the organization because if players were held accountable for their poor performances, their actions in the media, certain players would not be playing right now for this football team. And if accountability mattered to the Miami Dolphins, Chris Greer would not be employed. This is his 10th season as title GM of this football squad. They have zero playoff wins. Zero. No division titles. They have been horrible. If accountability mattered, the uh uh uh man, Mike McDaniel, would not be employed because he is as worse as a leader as Tua is. And Tua is one of the worst leaders I’ve ever seen. Consistently throwing people under the bus. Whether it’s his coaching staff, whether it’s a teammate, we’ve seen him go to the media and do it. Mike McDaniel does the same thing. There is no leadership inside the organization. No leadership from the owner, no leadership from the GM, no leadership from the head coach, no leadership from the quarterback, no leadership from the other captains on this team because it all seeps from the top. It’s like a pyramid. It starts here and it slowly branches out like this. And when the top the tippy top point Stephen Ross is maybe the worst of them all just continues to get worse down here. I think he might be the real reason with the Dolphins because at what point do you stop blaming Mike McDaniel to and Chris Greer for being bad at their job and blame the owner Steven Ross for allowing them to continue to hold their positions because we know what those three are. We know we know McDaniel. We know Greer. We know Tua. It’s not their fault anymore. Actually, at this point, they are who they are. Steven Ross, you want to improve this team? Get rid of them. You’re the real issue. If you agree with me, type Y for yes. Like, everybody in the world knows it. You guys saw the quote from Bill Cower a little bit earlier. Teddy Brusski, NFL legend, current analyst. The man that I want leading me that’s going to take you to championships is someone that’s the opposite of the man in Miami. He was referring to Mike McDaniel. Well said. Perfectly said, Mr. Teddy Brussi. The issue is this could be directed at like eight different people inside the Dolphins organization. And I am going to start turning my head to Stephen Ross. I am I have been very much in the open about how much I want to fire McDaniel and want to fire Chris Greer. But like I said a little bit earlier, at what point do we stop blaming those three for being in their current positions and sucking and start blaming the guy who can remove them from their positions. Steven Ross is the issue. It’s like weeds. It starts in the roots. McDaniel, Greer, and Tua are are the weed or flower out of the ground, but Stephen Ross is the root. And until you get rid of the roots, you can’t get rid of the problem. Steven Ross is the issue. We’re going to get to some injury news here in a second because Wadd and Darren Waller did leave the game with injuries. But this episode is brought to you by Mando. Let’s segue over from the incompetence at owner and GM and head coach to some injury news after the loss because Darren Waller left this game halfway through with a pec injury was questionable to return and then announced to be out. Well, his agent Drew Rosenhouse and his weekly hit with Josh Moser said that he suffered a pec strain in the loss and will undergo an MRI this morning. If it’s torn, it will be season ending, hoping for clean imaging and good news. But also when you think about this, James Daniels has a pec injury suffered in week one. We just played week seven and that wasn’t torn. That was a strain. So even if Darren Waller’s pec strain is actually a strain, you still would have to imagine he won’t return for at least six weeks because James Daniels didn’t return in six weeks. So, we have seen the last of Waller for likely a long time and maybe ever in a Dolphins uniform. Like, I don’t want to take a victory lap here because when Waller was on the field, he was awesome against the Panthers, against the Jets. Like it was it was fun to watch Darren Waller go to work in his first two games as a Dolphin, but we always knew this is a guy who was injuryprone, didn’t play football in a year, and was going to have a difficult time staying healthy. And I got to be honest, I don’t know where he got hurt because he didn’t have a target. He didn’t even have a catch in this game. So it might have happened on a blocking play. It just is terrible, man. And and now we got to turn to Julian Hill and Tanner Connor. Like I would expect Darren Waller to go on IR regardless of the MRI and I hope to see Greg Doulich activated to the 53man roster. Like does it matter in the grand scheme of the season? No, it really doesn’t because it seems not going anywhere and Darren Waller probably wasn’t going to return to this football squad for the 2026 season. But it does suck to lose a top weapon. Like whether it’s Tuo, whether it’s Quinners at quarterback, like that’s another legit weapon over the middle of the field and dynamic playmaker in the red zone that you are not going to be without, which just makes life a little bit more difficult for everybody else to do their job at a correct level. Make sure you do subscribe to stay up to the latest on everything Miami Dolphins on the road to 77K subscribers. It didn’t make me happy to make this video talking about how McDaniel and Chris Greer are still going to be employed, but we’ll make it anyway. We’ll also be live later today. Subscribe and join us. The other injury that we had to talk about was Jaylen Wadd, who left the game with an injury with like three minutes to go in the fourth after Quinners missed him wide open 15 yards down the field, which forced Wadd to try to jump up and make an acrobatic catch. Couldn’t do it. and then got tackled to the ground where he landed really hard on his back. Um, doesn’t sound like anything is significant there with Jaylen Wadd. He told Dolphins beat reporter David Ferronis that which is my goodness, thank goodness. Like if Wadd seriously got hurt, oh boy. Um, he’s like your most fun player. Him and Devon Chan, that’s really it. Like, so thank goodness he’s not hurt. It was certainly scary, but also kind of shows that Quinn I don’t think is really ready for his current position because well he that was a throw that every NFL quarterback should be able to make quick easy simple 15 yard out route five yards of separation but it was so far inside it allowed the corner to get a hand on Waddle and it allowed Wadd get hurt just can’t happen good quarterback puts it on Waddle catch 15 yards no injury move the sticks not going to make this into something more than it is. But I just wanted to kind of outline the fact that this injury is on Quinny. Final word on today’s show and we’ll have more on trade stuff coming up here. But I know a lot of people are going to quickly ask about should the Dolphins trade Wadd and Han now after this devastating loss. No, I I’m still keeping the two. Wild’s 26, Chan’s 24. Um, you keep those guys around because they’re your two best players, your two most dynamic weapons. And when you build for the future, you need some pillars. And I would consider Devon Han and Wadd pillars of the future for this team. Yeah, we’re tearing a lot down, but you need something to hold some other stuff up. Wadd and Han will do that. So, I’m keeping those two, but everybody defensively can go if we’re going to be honest. Like Phillips, Chub, Minka, any veteran can go. Kenneth Grant had his probably best game this past week against the Browns. Bad offensive line in Cleveland, but that was still good to see. Um, so there’s one positive. So you guys are keeping him. Chop Robinson. Once again, I don’t think he did anything. A couple maybe plays in the run game. They’re just not gonna spew here for too much longer. 1. I call upon everyone to boycott Dolphin Home GAMES INCLUDING THOSE SELLING CONCESSIONS IMAGINE THE DOLPHINS PLAYING IN AN EMPTY STADIUM. Ross should sell this team Mas brothers and Marcus Lemonis and Dan Marino and others should buy a share

  2. You are wrong for this reason. If you are going to suck do it real well to move up in the draft. Steven Ross is the owner and he can do what ever he wants that is what billionaires do

  3. In life, you never quit a job unless you have another one lined up. Until a new coach and new GM has been selected, there’s no good reason to fire either one of them at this point.

  4. Ross has poured money into this team. Many of his hiring decisions haven't worked out. Not by any fault of his. We aren't a perennial winner but it's not because of a lack of effort by the owner. Do a little research on some of the other teams in the NFL and you’ll find that we don't have "the worst owner in the history of earth". Think with your head people, not your heart.

  5. Stephon Ross got caught cheating for tampering and cost the organization draft picks! This organization will never be relevant as long as Ross owns the team! There is no accountability for no one in this organization! ROSS IS THE PROBLEM

  6. Everyone needs to calm down in the past Ross has broadcasted exactly what he wanted to do and lost out on coaches and players because of it. I would rather he keep his mouth shut and clean house in December.

  7. Grier, McDaniel, and Tua need to step aside as their combined strategy has collapsed and no longer works. Tua lacks flexibility and durability, McDaniel overthinks with unconventional ideas, and Grier lacks vision. Ross must either take charge to rebuild and shape this team or hand it over before the next offseason. Fins Up!

  8. Ross is the one totally responsible for planting the bad seeds into this once proud organization. Season ticket holders need to make their dissatisfaction known to this sorry excuse of an owner.

  9. Of course let the Coaches and GM play out the season for excellent Draft Choices then let go of the GM and Coaches. Give the New GM/Coach Draft Picks and a chance to evaluate the Players on the Team.

  10. You are too emotional and not thinking straight. Grier should be fire today, but NO McDaniel. McDaniel is the only HC that guarantee us a first draft pick. If we fire him now, we risk the same thing that happened with Flores. The team start to win a few games with a new HC and we lose the first round pick and we end up with another QB like Tua. Just wait until the end of game 17 and then fire McDaniel and Weaver.

  11. You’re finally waking up to the fact that the real problem is the reality of the Fins being owned by a reprehensible piece of shit. Who doesn’t care about the team. We need a new owner!!!!

  12. Nothing positive will come from firing the Coaches and GM and benching Tua. Let Tua take the punishment he is paid to take. Ewers should call his Agent and ask for a trade, he has a no win situation he will be sacked a lot and possibly injured. The Veteran Wilson doesn't want any part of this he has been down this road with the Jets.

  13. Lmao I've been saying Ross has got to go 2 yrs after he bought the dolphins. It's time true dolphin fans boycott the team force him to sell. The dolphins have sucked ever since he bought the team and will never be good as long as he owns the team , period full stop. He has squandered great coaching talent , great football talent and I'm sure his whole dolphin staff is a dumpster fire. Just because someone is good at one thing real estate in his case doesn't mean he knows football talent . It's damn obvious he doesn't. New slogan … Yo yo Ross must go

  14. What would be the point of firing him now, at 1-6? Season is over. Wait until after the entire NFL season is over, so current coaches and Offensive Coordinators are available to interview.

  15. Do not make a change. We make a change and win just enough or turn it around enough to get a 6,7,8 pick. Just let him fail the entire way out. Ross has experienced this already. They are failing organically as Omar Kelly has said. We can just hope to get a new QB and start over again.
