Robert Griffin III: The Miami Dolphins Need To Blow It All Up | 10/20/25

Bill Cower said that it looked like the Dolphins players were disinterested. Now, that’s not saying you quit. No, but it’s close. Yeah, it’s close. Maybe it’s semantics. It’s a It’s a friendlier word. What does disinterested mean to you as a former player? It means that the Miami Dolphins need to blow it all up. Uh, Dan, they they have to fire Mike McDaniel. And I do also believe they have to get rid of Tua Tonga Vioa. And and I’m a Tua guy. You asked me. Uh this is many shows ago. Who would I take? Would I take Tua Tonga Vioa or Justin Herbert? Um and I picked Tua because his ability to play before the defense and and get the ball out in timing and rhythm and his aggressiveness. Uh but he’s thrown 10 interceptions this year and he’s thrown three interceptions in backto-back games. And I I I do believe Tua himself has lost that locker room. Um, we saw it last week when he came out and and called out, you know, the leadership in the building. That wasn’t just players. That was leadership holistically in the entire building. And once it starts to creep out like that, for a guy like Tula who’s always been very cognizant of what he says to the public, um, that to me means that it’s going a lot worse than what we’re even seeing. And now it’s affecting his play uh to a level of like coach Cer said, they’re disinterested. They they don’t want to play. Mike McDaniel does not look like he’s having fun right on the sidelines. He’s not skipping and jumping and wearing the cool glasses anymore. He’s got like a hoodie on like he’s trying to hide from somebody. So, I don’t know what is particularly going on there, but I know they owe 20 140 141 million still. Uh, but sometimes you just got to reshuffle the deck and and just start all

FOX football analyst Robert Griffin III joins the Dan Patrick Show and explains why he thinks it’s time for the Miami Dolphins to fire head coach Mike McDaniel and move on from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa

  1. im starting to think its not mcdaniel but tua

    its all tuas fault
    3 ints yesterday – 10 in 7 games ( jets game he had 0 )
    1.5 ints a game average

real arguement to be made without those turnovers could be 4-3

tua got benched yesterday and mike finally distanced himself from him by saying if you hurt the team i have to asses other players

you cant fill the roster cause you paid the qb –

the qb is supposed to get us over the hump

    they are 1 scors losses

all avoidable if we had a qb who didnt make mistakes

    TUA IS THE PROBLEM

    also fire chris grier
