After Moody went 1-3 in game 1, including doinking a 27-yard gimmie, this man feels like such a blessing.

Wish Moody all the best, glad it’s started well for him in Chicago. But I think our record would easily be 3-4 or worse if we hadn’t made the change.

  1. Jake mooty would’ve let us down. Hope he does well but we made the right move

  2. Moody was made for a team like Chicago and wish him the best, he already looks like he fits in perfectly. Pineiro is what the 49ers needed and is already a legend in the making! Nothing was worse than the pit in my stomach every time we had a FG or extra point before him!

  3. Whenever he kicks, in my head, I hear, “I know you edieeeeeeeee…. you’re the FUCK YOU man, huh?”

  4. I can’t remember where I heard it but I remember an interview with a kicker once that said you could replace all of the kickers in the league with guys not currently on rosters and you wouldn’t even notice it. There are so many quality kickers out there not even playing at the moment. It’s easy to say in hindsight, I guess, but spending a 3rd round pick on a kicker was insane, IMO.

  5. Whenever Moody would kick I would think “oh shit don’t miss”. Now when I see dineiro kick I think “MAKE IT YOU CRAZY BASTARD”. The energy difference is astounding and I love every bit of it

  6. Kicker is most important when our offense stinks. He accounts for a quarter of our points every game and you cant afford to miss one kick when you score 20 per game.

  7. I was looking at his wiki and it seemed like his career stalled but that he was on teams consistently. What happened?

  8. Well yeah it’s obvious Kyle didn’t trust Jake anymore and it’s obvious Kyle really trusts Eddy and it allows him to be flexible in his playcalls since he knows Eddy can hit those long FGs

I’m just glad we don’t have to be nervous about kicks anymore

  9. I’m officially exorcizing any Gerry Anderson energy where he goes perfect during the regular season then misses the game-clenching field goal in the playoffs.

  10. I think Dicker’s FG percentage comes down to Eartha bit and Pineiro takes the all time FG% record
