His TD catch against the Titans was super tuff
He’s the patriots version of the Jameson Williams and I’m here for it
Interesting thing I’ve noticed is he gets absolutely no YAC. So I just looked it up and sure enough he’s currently the worst YAC receiver in the league. 1.05 YAC per reception(21 YAC on 20 receptions) which is the worst of players with 5+ receptions.
I feel like if he could unlock that aspect he would be a complete stud.

I can’t believe they don’t target him more when he literally catches everything thrown in his vicinity, 2 or 3 targets a game is criminal.
Having both Diggs and Boutte has been great. Diggs is having a great rehab year back to form but almost less pressured to make the big play. It just comes naturally. Then Boutte being just a younger, handsy wide out is refreshing. I think the best part is that Maye passes the ball around to everyone and it’s great to see him try out the field and then go to who is having the best matchup. I’m still hoping Williams shows out for a game or 2 and if not, I want to see Chism in the slot.
He seriously catches everything. I am not complaining but I feel he deserves more than 2-3 targets a game.
But seriously, kid after his freshman year at LSU was on track to be a first round pick, and a bad combo of injury and coaching changes kinda fucked him. He’s worked his tail off and I genuinely hope we extend him this off season.

He is, indeed, a dog. You can’t fake the ‘dog factor’. He and Diggs both have it.
Yeah I don’t know if I’m just reactionary but I want him extended asap. Was a big fan of him last season too.
Young, reliable receiver that has great chemistry with our young franchise QB and can grow with him in the coming years.
And remember he is only 23 years old playing in his third season.

I’ve chatted a lot of shit about Boutte and all the hype fans had for him without him doing much but he’s very much justified it and made me look stupid. I’m happy to say I was way too harsh on him.
He’s a very good receiver and establishing himself as a quality #2.
