Rich Eisen said that yesterday's Broncos comeback was one of the craziest moments he's seen in his "22 years at NFL network," and it made me realize, any other team would have made someone pay for a loss like yesterday. Forget the 2024 Miami Dolphins (who are probably sighing in relief) 70-20 defeat — this was 33 points in one quarter and one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history. This is what the Giants will be remembered for in the near future.

So far it seems that Jude McAtamney will continue to be kicking for us on Sunday. Shane Bowen will continue as defensive coordinator. Not a single change will be made other than apologies and sincere thoughts and, "they made plays," and, "we need to do better on all sides of the ball."

These people, this whole organization, do not take you seriously as a fan. It falls short of contempt, but there's really no other way to put it. Mara wants to keep his friends club together. Daboll wants to not get fired and wants his legacy to be better than three years of garbage play and missed opportunities. Schoen wants to skate on by without really trying. These people develop a team out of a risk reduction mentality instead of a winning mentality. The fact the kicker situation and Andrew Thomas went this many years without resolution, the fact that multiple players left to do amazing things elsewhere — these people don't take your passion as a fan seriously.

They don't care about you, and until they get a Commanders-style shakeup, this will continue.

    The bigger problem is this regime is reactionary to everything. There is never any foresight or attempt at preempting disasters. It’s just hope and pray.

  2. I think there’s an argument for not firing Bowen going into a game against a team that he successfully game planned against a week ago. He’ll be gone eventually.

    Jude kicking this weekend, on the other hand, is unacceptable

  5. Jude is never kicking another ball in the NFL, he never should’ve kicked one to begin with. Bowen will be 1000% gone after the season. If Mara doesn’t clean house he needs to commit to Daboll so we don’t have to hire a lame duck DC again, no coordinator with any kind of options is signing up for a 1 year stint on a sinking ship. Either clean house or commit to Daboll being the guy to develop Dart.

  11. I just avoided all media, really sick to my stomach and just couldn’t bare going through my usual hub, even from someone like Rich who suffers enough as a Jets guy but yesterday was something else, different from the 49ers collapse. Someone has to go and it’s not any player that’s for sure

  13. I was just thinking the same thing! How the fuck does the organization do absolutely nothing the day after a historic collapse choke job! No accountability for anyone ?

    At worst how is the kicker not released this morning! 3 missed XP’s in two games and so shaky we won’t even attempt anything over 45 yards and he keeps his Fukin job! How? What does it take to get fired by this organization? Can any employee just take a Giant 💩on Mara’s desk and not get fired? Make it make sense!

  14. The loss was bad, but calling it “generational” is vastly overblowing it. Was this game going to lead to winning the division, the conference? The Giants losing Super Bowl XXXV was a more important loss.

  15. Weird take, but ok. Teams generally don’t make knee-jerk decisions based on a single game, as much as the fans and talking heads may want them to.

  19. It was a massively painful loss for both the fans and the players. And seeing all of the recap videos posted on YouTube by the top football creators was also like reliving the nightmare.

    And yet silence from the front office. As if we’re supposed to just be cool with it and move on.
