Name one fringe player we have released that has gone and had wild success somewhere else??
Admittedly there hasn’t been a ton of dudes we let go that went on to be stars but one that comes to mind is Legarrete Blount. Dude was actually a baller especially in the playoffs
I’ll be honest, I’m having a tough time thinking of anyone we’ve let go recently that’s doing great on another team.
No one called Brownlee overrated. Landry maybe, but he’s just okay and still can’t rush the passer. Brewer is still a great run blocker, still awful in pass pro.
We’ve been so low on talent for years now that there haven’t been many good players to let walk.
Also gotta keep in mind anyone with any kind of interest from another team isn’t going to stick around. That’s how bad we’ve been.
What prompted this? Did Hassan Haskins have a 30 yard catch again?
Now do the 31 other teams..
Seriously I know what you mean but this is shit that just about every team can complain about.
Also, sometimes when you let go of guys or trade them it’s for other reasons, not just because they suck.
AJ Brown for instance has great potential to be a great player. He also has great potential to be a pain in the ass, he was already doing a little bit before they got rid of him. Do you really think he was gonna be happy here in Tennessee? He was already chirping on Twitter. Hell he’s not happy in his situation now.
It also didn’t help that what you got in return for Brown was botched by not doing your homework on a player who already had a medical element that nobody know about.
The Lions are who we were suppose to be… fuck I am jealous watching them.
Ernest Jones. I will say the 4th we got for him was used on Gunnar Helm, so not all lost.
