Aaron Glenn is in over his head and getting worse every single week! Justin fields somehow looks worse than Zach Wilson. This team might go 0-17 and end up with the number one overall pick. If that does happen then the right move is to fire Aaron Glenn and cut Justin Fields. Then bring in Matt Nagy from Kansas City, Sign Carson Wentz, and draft LaNorris Sellers.
I know some are pointing to Kyle Shanahan and Dan Campbell as examples of why Glenn should be kept. But does he seem like either of those guys? Or does he seem more like Nathaniel Hackett, Urban Myers or Jerod Mayo? Imo he seems lost, confused and overwhelmed just like Hackett, Myers and Mayo.
Everyone, think about what Tyson said. We didn't do Talent evaluations, we cant make in game decisions to the point where there's no two minute drill and the coach is fighting with the media. Thats Adam Gase in 2020. Get rid of Glenn now. Hes not going to get better

What's become undeniable to me is that Glenn is a singularly unimpressive person. He speaks in banal cliches, he talks down to the reporters as if they're children even though he's the one who acts and sounds like a child, and he isn't fast on his feet in talking about the team and what he's doing with it. Which is of a piece of how he's even slower on his feet coaching the team during the actual games. I know it's unrealistic to hope for or even talk about firing a head coach after one year unless he ushers in a total disaster — not that such an 0-17 disaster isn't distinctly possible for this Jet team. But my muted interest in this edition of the team has a lot to do with the very depressing prospect of listening to, and watching, Glenn's inept nonsense for another few years.
Everyone says how mean NY media is. Maybe it isn’t when the Jets are dominant. Guess we’ll never know.

One of the curses of being a coach in pro sports is the need to sit and speak with them so many times a week. That being said if he can't handle or allows the media to get into his head, this guy needs to go. He would be better off taking a PR course on how to handle the media.

I agree with all the frustration, but I have to say this….the Jets will never get better if we don't change as fans. We all know Woody listens to the fans (that's not a joke). We have no patience as a fanbase to wait for things to get better. We need to give the regime time. Like two years at least. If we start calling for heads to roll, and we're loud enough, Woody will react. And then it's another interim HC, another new HC next year with the team going in another new direction. We all need to chill, accept the fact that we may not win a single game this season, and pray we see at least improvements in coaching, play calling, and the football basics (e.g. tackling). Considering we were one of the worst teams last year and got a new regime in the offseason, the Jets are exactly where I figured they'd be.
I’ve been watching this team for 56 years it’s just so tiring nothing ever changes. They are the only team in the NFL that never gets better. I think the decline started after Walt M left . We have probably had more first timers than any other team. Rick NYC

Believe it or not there was some improvement vs Broncos. Jets only had 2 penalties for 15yds total and the defense finally kept the game close so our "offense" cld close it out. Yes some of those sacks were on Fields but the OLine gets alot of the blame. The OC playcalling was shameful. I dont want to give up on Glenn yet but damn at least try n pull out 5 wins at this point. I have no answers Tyson but Im loyal to a major fault
Press conferences are white noise. When the profuct on the field isn't any good people are left to talk about words. Glenn needs to take a page from Bill Belichick's book and say as little as possible. As for Breece Hall, I'm hearing just a 5th rounder? I wonder if they would be better off keeping him and getting a higher compensatory pick based on who and what he signs for.

News: WR DJ Moore is being shopped by the Bears. The Jets trading for him was an idea I had a couple of weeks ago. When Fields and Moore played together, they had the highest QB rating for a duo in the entire NFL. If the Jets don't get Moore…then it's an epic fail on their part.
This is a bo brainer fix. Woody should beg Mike McCarthy to come here and promise to stay out of his way. We love Glenn, but he's just not ready. Glass half full McCarthy brings us a chip. Half empty. He leaves the franchise in better shape than he found it. It's his offense that Dallas is carving up teams with.
