  1. Walsh needs to get it together.
Because i know he can be better than what he’s been. Ive seen it!
I dont know if its confidence or what. But Minott has been a hustle machine

  2. I would keep Simons until I know I can get Kessler/Bam lol anybody else isn’t worth it to me especially not Claxton he seems Brooklyn good not championship good lol

  3. Agreed John on your stance on walsh and hugo. I think hugos ahead of walsh at this point. While i dont think hugos gonna be a starter soon, i can see him as a rotation player soon. As soon as simons is gone tbh.

Hugo gonzales reminds me of early career/spur d.white.

  4. That was a very subtle hint "Hugo will be a S5 player within his rookie contract"
Given, he's a guard/wing that means that one of JT, JB or White will not be there anymore…
As much as I would be happy for HG, that doesn't resonate well.

  5. There is no upping Simon’s trade value. Cam Thomas makes 11 mil. No one wants Simon’s for 30. If we get rid of Simon’s I’ll lose my shit cuz we let jd walk for nothing to keep Simon’s.. Just pray a team gets desperate.

  6. Exactly John. That’s how I have felt about Walsh. I don’t think he got scored on in that last game. Minott is kind of what I thought Walsh would look like. I think Walsh has the tools to be at that level of disruptor if he focuses on defense.

  7. Ya Jordan played about 200 minutes of serious basketball last year. I would say that’s not great for a 20-year-old. They didn’t even send him to the G so he pretty much didn’t play basketball last year. And we are Questioning his processing speed… it takes guys years of real minutes.. give these guys time damn..

  8. I’m not sure they handled Walsh correctly. 20 years old and pretty much no basketball last year. He played 400 total minutes. No g league minutes either…I’d say half of them were serious and not blowouts and most of those came at the beginning of the season. Talk about is this three year vet who has had unlimited opportunity.. close to the truth

  9. There is a Celtics channel out there. Took a practice clip of QUETA messing around taking 2s and it was bad. Posted it and said I never want to see him taking a two.. keep in mind this is literally after we watched him hit that 10 foot jumper in euro basket over and over again. And this guy picks that clip, posts it and implies neemy cannot shoot because of that blooper video.

  10. Payton Pritchard no matter how much respect I have for the guy and his play . He is NOT a starting PG in the NBA . He is NOT better than Simons in anyway other than a slight edge in 3pt % . We got Simons cheap . If Joe and the culture of the Celtics get Simons to step up his defense intensity he will absolutely be an all star . There isn’t a PG or SG outside of White that’s even close to Simons talent . If Pritch isn’t making 3’s he is a liability on the floor .

  11. It's this moment right now I wish we would have taken the chance on Kyle filipowski!!!! Literally the only draft pick Brad has ever done that I complained about. I usually see the vision with his picks and accept that they may or may not work out. But boy oh boy this one bugs me a little.

  12. To the guy who asked about coaching rebounding, go back and watch Kevin love in the Timberwolves. He wasn't a very big guy, but his technique and IQ positioning is immaculate!!! That's all from discipline, coaching discipline and effort can go a long way for rebounding. But yes at the end of the day size plays a large role.

  13. Mid season makes no sense….if simons had a bad attitude, ya, but he is so coachable and offers so much. If we are happy with him at end of season we can offer a longer term lower cost per year or let him walk and save off the cap for a FA, or use in a sign and trade if another team really wants him but does not have cap space. I like the kid is a bench option with starter potential, we can literally have a guard out and still have a starter quality player ready to fill in

  14. I’m hopeful for Simons this year. He’d have to be a bust on defense for me to trade him. I’m hoping he explodes his defense and he adds to that offense with Tatum next year. I doubt Tatum will play this season. I think its alot of hype. I think White will be the player to explode this year. I think Simons and White will make Brown even more lethal. It could turn out to excite Tatum and open up his game. There’s going to be alot of fast break basketball in Boston. Its going to take multiple centers to keep up with main unit. All of them better be ready to go.
