Carolina Hurricanes at Vegas Golden Knights | Game Highlights | 10.20.25

[Music] goals 30301 in Los Angeles. He’ll start it out here against the Vegas Golden Knights and the Canes will come up with a puck and it’ll go out of play. Walker came back through the middle back checking with a purpose to own the middle. Assad with it, sent out in front. They’ll score. It’s deflected in and Jack Eel continues to pile up the points for the Vegas Golden Knights in the early going. It’s one- nothing Vegas. 1118 left here in the first. Miller stick. Miller was trying to do his job taking away the pass. Frederick Anderson anticipating it’s going to go clean through. Zod starts it all off of Miller’s tape and into the net. Reaching for it was Fetchnikov wanted to center that one, but Vegas on the intercept and now with a step jumping in. They’ll score. Stretching it past Anderson is Pavl Doria and his seventh of the season. Makes it a two nothing Vegas lead. [Music] Nikeshian’s not able to bat it down. And I mean, what a move from Dora F. I mean, I even thought he was going to stay on the forehand to be able to drag a top speed back to the backhand with one-handed finish. I do also dislike out Gary Bman and I have had some good conversations about music. Now it’s Jarvis sending this one across and they score. Sebastian Aaho. Oh, the Canes needed it. And Jarvis to Aaho and Carolina is on the board. It’s a 2-1 game in Vegas. Chance Rod might change up his lines in the intermission. He didn’t. And now you’ve cut the lead in half. Feelers gets his first point as a Carolina Hurricane. Dropping the puck and then driving the middle, the middle lane drive that creates separation. AO didn’t panic. He settled it. Took advantage of the screen. Nifty play from his right skate to his tape. What Vegas brings to the party. Can’t take a shift off. Now this comes a free. Oh, Mr. Anderson. He entered the matrix and robbed Dorafia. I don’t know who won the Blue Jays Mariners game tonight, but you’d love to have this type of glove with the game on the line. What a save. The half wall, that’s the hash marks in the offensive zone. Eel creates the numbers on the goal line and Anderson just a step ahead of the play before that Golden Glove moment. Hartner fumbling with it. Almost turns it over. Then he does to Aaho. Now out in front, Jarvis with a shot and what a save as Akira Schmidt. But Sod will knock it down and Sod plays it out for Barbashev. Vegas gets a clear and now Barbashev comes up with a turnover on Miller and scores. Ivan Barbesev creates the opportunity and it’s a 3-1 game. Vegas back on top by two. Miller lose his footing or was there any type of infraction on the play? He he just caught a rod. Good non call. Tries to tight turn and take a peek in the process. Burns a tire. Barbashev with his pressure gets rewarded for it. But see the way that Barbashev changed his point of contact. Either way, the Canes are down two goals right now. That’s in the past. You got to think about the present. How can the Canes get one before the minute mark with an empty net? Anderson is on the bench for the extra attacker. Marner will get it out. Carlson takes aim for the empty net and scores. William Carlson makes this a 4-1 game. Well, Vegas, even with their excellent start, not quite as good as Carolina’s. Nobody’s was as good as Carolina’s coming into this game. And this game has been the Aaho line how they look tonight. Now, the horn goes and for the first time this season, the Carolina Hurricanes are not on the winning side of the scoreboard. Vegas takes this
