I understand the Nordiques moved here and became the Avalanche and that Joe Sakic was and is a huge part of both teams. I just wish they made a jersey more so celebrating the Colorado Avalanche. Like a yeti foot on the shoulder, 3 stripes or something for the 3 Stanley cups, stuff like that.
I think the Nordiques jersey is great, but I wish we could see them get a little creative with alt jerseys.
Why only those 7 games?

I’m Canadian. Not from Quebec, but I grew up loving the Nordiques and especially Sakic.
These are such beautiful jerseys, and to just let it die would be a massive disappointment. I love the revival, that they are paying homage to their history, and it being just a specialty jersey is appropriate.
I can’t wait to see these on the ice. LFG.

I was hoping for something a little more creative than just the Nordiques jersey with an advertisement on it. I think I’ll pass.
May get some flak for this but I think if a team relocates, the logos and names should stay with the old city.
Am I the only one disappointed they didnt use the current colors? Basically a dark blue version of what we had last time…

Just put a little half circle to turn the n into an a, and then use that as our logo.

They just took the existing Nordiques jerseys they already sell on Fanatics and just slapped the modern players names on it with the IMA patch, and this is coming from someone who LOVES the Nordiques

Can people please stop complaining? I don’t get the anger of a 30 year anniversary jersey release. Some teams have had the same jersey for 30+ years and NEVER do special releases like this. Just enjoy the ride and remember that the Avs are winning the cup this year.
I’m conflicted. It looks nice, but….i want to wear an Avalanche jersey and not a Nordiques jersey 🤷 I wish they put more of an Avalanche spin on it, but I guess they didn’t want to rehash the RR
