Yankees’ Top 5 Offseason Targets? #Yankees #mlb #newyorkyankees #nyy #baseball
Here are the top five players I’d like to see the Yankees acquire this winter. Number five is Kazuma Akamoto. The Amori Giants captain may not get posted, but if he does, he’s a versatile right-handed bat who can play the corner infield and some corner outfield providing contact and power. Number four is Sandy Alcantra of the Miami Marlins. He’s a wild card due to a poor 2025 season, but the Yankees had interest in him at the deadline, and the stuff is still good enough to believe he could be a frontline starter once again. Number three, we have Pablo Lopez. The right-hander has a 3.68 erra, 3.44 fib, and a 27% strikeout rate in his time with the Minnesota Twins, providing good command and profiles as a number two starter at a reasonable cost. Number two is Cody Bellinger, who’s a versatile, excellent defender who provides offense either in front of or behind Aaron Judge. Coming in at number one, we have Kyle Tucker, who’s top 10 in OPS over the last three seasons, has more walks drawn than strikeouts since 2024, and is a good blend of contact and excellent Power.
