Devon Levi keeps slipping down the Sabres depth chart

My concern is you have Alex Lion playing ahead of him and what does that do to his psyche in the sense of it’s different if UPL is the guy but you have now you have Alex Lion a guy you brought in on like a minimum deal who is like a career backup and all of a sudden you’re telling me like I can’t even play over Alex Lion. I think that is just his time is running thin there in my opinion. Jeeoff I I don’t disagree with you. I I I wish I knew what the plan was because I was under the impression that the plan this season and this goes back to to July. The plan was going to be Ukapeka Lucin and Devin Levi. And it was going to be, you know, Levi, it’s not a not a 50-50 split, but he starts to make that climb uh to becoming the uh the number one starter with the Buffalo Sabres, but then, you know, Alex Lion is in front of him. And then here here comes Colton Ellis on waiverss and he gets placed in front of him. But I’m really glad you brought this up because I think this is a I think this is is potentially a major situation for the Buffalo Sabres as well. I don’t think that he’s asked out, but if we’re sort of piling up the you know question marks about players and their future with the Buffalo Sabres, I think that Devin Levi’s got to be a big piece of the conversation. and had

  1. Daily Sabres clickbait. Alex Lyon has usurped UPL. smart team would consider moving him. Levi got thrown in wayyy too early and had some growing pains. He’s been one of the best goalies in the AHL on a contender and has a bright future. All the coaches in Roch have even went on to compliment Levi, hasn’t complained at all even when they brought in Georgiev

  2. I don't think that Devon Levi is in trouble at all. Ryan Miller spent three plus years in the AHL. Devon should stay in the AHL for another full year, and bring him up in 2027 – 2028. There is no problem here.
