  4. I want him to become our Pop, not because I think he’s the greatest coach ever. I just really want to see a 70 yr old Mazzulla going crazy in pressers and practices

  7. You know you’re doing something right in coaching when you’ve got Natalie Nakase coach from the Valkyrie and JJ Reddick taking things that you do coaching wise and implementing them into their own philosophies/regimes.

  9. Mazzulla’s entire professional career has either been as a college coach/asst coach or with the Celtics. He’s won a championship and is leading the most successful franchise in the league.

    The Knicks must just have this mindset of *”Everyone wants to coach in New York! If we throw enough money his way he’ll come.”* which is not rooted in any sense of reality.

  10. The *only* other team I’d like to see him coach is the Boston Red Sox. And that’s because it’d be super funny.

  13. Mike Brown already getting undermined before he’s coached a single game, already had to accept the list of coaches they pursued before him.
