CANUCKS ROSTER AND LINE UP FOR GAME VS. THE PENGUINS

Hey Conucks fans, hope you’re well. The Conucks look to extend their road winning streak to four games tonight as they take on Archer Sheils and the Pittsburgh Penguins in Pittsburgh. The Canucks coming off impressive wins over Dallas to start the trip. Chicago the very next night and then Washington in that early morning game on Sunday. A lot of walking wounded on the team though. So let’s get into what the Conucks are going to look like, how they’re going to line up against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Yeah, regarding Pittsburgh, of course, exciting Crosby, Malcolin, Latang, and of course Archer Sheil in net, who will get the start in net for us, Kevin Lankanin. I was kind of surprised. I thought they’d go Demco tonight. Lankin in Nashville against his former team, and then you can split home and home. Um, you know, Montreal, Edmonton between the two, but maybe they’re thinking Lanin tonight, Demco in Nashville, then Lankin in Montreal and Demco Edmonton at home. So, we’ll see about that. But it is Lankin ver versus she loves tonight in the battle of the backups. You could say she loves is two and one. Tristan Jarry is two and one. Um and there it’s interesting that actually Jarry and Demco’s stats are quite similar and Lanin and she loves his stats are quite similar to start the season. So in goal, Kevin Lanin in for the Vancouver Conucks. On D, the same top four, Quinn Hughes with Philip Heronic, Marcus Person making his return to Pittsburgh with Tyler Myers. And then our third pairing is going to be defenseman Elias Person with Pierre Olivier Joseph. The way that Sportsnet Mur Dan Murphy laid it out today, he had PD DPD on the left and Joseph on the right. We know that DPD can play on the right. He does so when he’s playing with a guy like Forbert. We know that P Joseph has played on the right before. So, one of the guys has to play on the right. So, at least the way they’re listed today by Dan Murphy, it was DPD on the left and Pierre Olivier Joseph on the right. And that means that Tom Valander called up yesterday. He will be the healthy scratch on D. So once again, Hughes with Heronic, Marcus Parson with Tyler Meyers, Elias Par with Pierre Olivia Joseph, Tom Valander as your extra up front. This is where it gets a little ugly because we know last game we lost Philip Hedo and Jonathan Leeramaki who’s in for Besser. Both flew back to Vancouver. Uh we lost Teddy Bluger as well. Um at least Bler is still with the team. He did not fly back to Vancouver. So that that tells me that he remains a possibility for Thursday night. But it sounds like no Bluger tonight and no Brock Ber tonight who was away from the team for personal reasons. So it looks like he won’t make it back for whatever reason. We hope it’s okay, but for tonight’s game. So check this out. This is how the guys are going to line up. I’m not sure if we’re going to see this lineup again. I’m not sure if I want to see this lineup again, but this is I just have a feeling they’re going to pull it out still. But this is what’s going to happen. It’s going to be Person with De Brusk and Garland on your top line. Good. Bonafide top line. All good. Second line is your whether you call it your Abbottzford line or let’s say they’re their third line. Our second line then is Atuatu between Evander Kane and Kefir Sherwood. So, a lot of crashing and banging on that line, a lot of good puck retrieval, and Sherwood’s had a hot hand. I I’ve talked many times that Kane’s game is improving, except for that drop pass with the empty net, but you know, that’s okay. So, um it’s going to be Ratu between Kane and Sherwood. Really interested to see how that line plays and how they’re able to muck it up a little bit both during the play and after the whistles. Then our third line is our Abby line of um Max Assassin between Rheet Baines and Lenus Carlson. And they’ve been great. They they’ve produced at a second line clip sometimes. They’ve checked at a third or fourth line clip. They’ve been great. And they’ve nothing to worry about when those guys are on the ice. Yeah, they got caught on on the ice long for one of the Washington goals, but for the most part, they’ve been good. And our fourth line, get ready for this. Get ready for this. It will be Neil Zaman called up yesterday. Joseph Lebate caught up yesterday and Drew O’ Conor. Yes, our fourth line of Okconor and Lebate with Neil Zaman centering them. You can’t stop them. You can only hope to contain them. In all seriousness, fourth line plays anywhere between eight and 10 minutes a game. You just don’t want to get scored on. You want to basically relieve your forwards of um you know, give them some some extra rest. So, I’m not too worried. Like Neil Zamont has played with the Conucks before. Drew Oconor has been okay. We’re still waiting for him to break out a little bit. and Joseph Leate. Um, solid journeyman with some size and and some snarl. So, I don’t mind that four fourth line. I I I don’t think we have to worry about them though because I don’t think they’re going to be playing that much to be honest with you. So, there we go. That’s how we line up up front. Pey with the breasten Garland, Kane and Sherwood surrounding center aturatu. Then we have Sassin Baines Carlson and then Neil Zawan with Drew O’ Connor and Joseph Lebane. I will be doing my live stream tonight at 11 pm, my postgame live stream. Also, I’ll do a quick bowling update because I’m playing bowling against Sean’s team tonight, which will be a lot of fun. Kind of want to mic him up, but then he swears too much, so I we probably can’t do that. So, I just posted that video up this morning. Give it a look. I’ll put in the description as well. Numbers a little low on that one, so if we could bump that up, that would be awesome. But for tonight, what is your score prediction? Who’s your first Kut goal scorer? I’m I’m going four. We’ve been so close to 4-2. We’ve had a 5-3. We’ve had a 3-2. So, I’m still going to go 4-2 because I think it’s it’s a legit score prediction. So, it’s my favorite score. So, I’m going to say Canucks four, Pittsburgh 2, and tonight give me give me Evander Kane. I think he hasn’t scored yet. Give me him as the first schooler. Um, it’s not gonna be an ex kuck. Sorry, it’s not gonna be a kuck that she loves has faced before. So, no scouting report for Sheil loves, just Evander Kane bullies one into the net.
