Here’s Why Playing Tyler Shough Would Be A MISTAKE By The Saints!
a lot of chatter about Spencer Rattler and you knew it was going to happen as soon as he had one game where he had some turnovers. It was going to be I need to see Tyler Shuck. You got to see what you drafted. And again, I’m just telling you, 40th overall does not guarantee you anything. He had a shot to win the job at a training camp and he didn’t do it. I I understand what you’re saying, like the season’s lost, you might as well see. But what is that telling Spencer Rattler? A guy that right now is 13th in the NFL in passing yards. I think he’s playing better than Michael Penn right now without question. There’s eight spots where he would be the starting quarterback for other teams. And I heard yesterday he’s basically a backup quarterback in the NFL, which is just incredibly false and just not the truth. What do you do? Because I think if you sit him because you want to see what you have in Tyler Shuck, doesn’t that hurt his development? He’s accurate. He’s got a big strong arm. He’s accurate down the field. He manages the game very well. Goes to those reads. He can move. He can run. He can scramble. I don’t understand the comments of people saying his ceiling is low. He’s got all the athleticism. He’s got the arm. He’s got the accuracy. He’s had some issu like he’s he’s thrown some inaccurate passes. But watch the entire NFL.

Thank you and Matt for always keeping it real and not disrespecting this young man as he tries to grow in the NFL, much respect for the journalistic integrity.
It isn't a great idea to throw in a rookie with this young oline especially at center. Rattler isn't close to being fully developed just wait til he figures out connecting on deep balls more then fans wouldn't have anything to say bad about him
People are highly emotional & just don’t know ball.
I've prayed Spencer would have this kind of game ..and hope coaching staff stays with him as their guy .. because he needs to know he doesn't have to look over his shoulder and can free up his game and let it rip .it could benefit him tremendously to have a bad game
He got frustrated in the bears game. He's young, and he needs help, ol giving no clean pocket and wrs dropping balls. Not only that wrs giving up on routes
I’m all for giving rattler the credit he deserves without making stuff up. He’s a hard worker and is a decent scrambler. When he plays within himself he doesn’t make a lot of mistakes but he’s not accurate downfield unless the guy is wide open. He consistently throws behind crossing receivers and stares down is first read. I like a lot about him but not enough to keep shough on the sideline all year. If we go into the bye 2-8 or 1-9 then see what you got.
That's a misleading stat he only has more yards than 4 Qb's that have played the same amount of games all the rest have played one less cause they have had there bye week. Also only 26 Qb's have started 6 games or more.
⚜️💯 It’s not Rattlers problem! It’s the CCR 4 the receivers? C da ball 2) Catch da ball 3) Run with the ball, last but not da least HOLD ON 2 da Damn ball.⚜️
Yall keeping it 💯, they act like you start Tyler we gon start winning???? Man please, support Spencer and open the playbook
Not to make comparisons but Peyton Manning led the league in ints when he first started.
Shough stinks
Couldn't agree more
I mean spencer rattler has almost a year to show hes a future….he hasnt really. So we alreadg have a lost season, we gotta see what we have.
This team sucks. Spencer has been the only hopeful player. Dump everyone and start over. Of course this should have been done last year.
I think this chatter is because we expect to be drafting a top pick because the record will be disgusting. People want to know if we should draft another QB in April or use it to gain collateral
Season lost? Bruh, 11-6 aint a bad record. 😂
U hit that on the head!! Look at the QBs who u call the best in nfl. Hard as people have been on Rattler makes me examine other QBs and Ratt is right there!! Still just his 7th or 8th week of practice with his team. He gets better every week. Kellen let DA clown him in that chess match
Funny how some of those other 8 teams are benching their QBs and the backups are playing better than the QB who won the starting job in training camp.
Funny, isn’t it.
13th in league without a tun of long passes
